Gender:No way to currently sex them.

Perferred Water Conditions:Can live in a ph 6.0 to 8.0. Easy to maintain. Also will like faster currents.

Care:Easy, will take most any water. Also will like to school, best if kept in groups of 6 or more, also will school with marbled hatchetfish. Also keep a lid on the hood these fish are known to "fly" when frightened.
