Temperament: Peaceful, males will sometimes have territorial displays.

Gender:Males will display a bright red marking under their throats during mateing, and when they protect their territory.

Perferred Water Conditions: Will take pHs from 6.0-8.2, and temps of 72-82

Care: Keep with other peaceful community fish. It doesnt like different species of gourami in the tank.
