Temperament: Unpredictable. Some are quite aggressive, while others are “gentle giants”. Males tend to be more aggressive.

Gender: Difficult to determine.

Perferred Water Conditions: Temp: 72-80*F, pH 6.0-8.0. Very messy fish! Lots of filtration needed.

Care: Live food preferred. Do not plan to have an Oscar in a planted tank, because they rearrange the tank to their liking.
