Temperament:Peaceful. When new fish are entered into the aquarium they may show bright colors and try to establish dominance and nip at the other fish, generally stops in 5 minutes.
Average Size:3-4 inches
Gender:The female is more colorful, the male has longer fins and a pointed anal fin.
Perferred Water Conditions: Temperatures of 76F-84F and pH's of 6.0-8.0 are ideal.
Care: Feed with pellets and flakes, an ocassional treat of live bloodworms or brine shrimp is appreciated. Have many places for them to hide, add lots of plants and caves.
