Temperament: Peaceful, excellent for community tanks, males will often harass females so a ratio of 1 male to every 2-3 females is a good idea.
Average Size:2 inches
Gender: Male has a gonopodium, which looks like his anal fin, folded against his body. Males are more colorful and skinner then females.
Perferred Water Conditions: Temp: 68-82*F pH: 7.0-8.0 Non-iodized salt is beneficial. Very hardy fish.
Care: Tropical flakes will do. BBS will make fry grow faster. Very easy fish to keep and breed!
