Average Size:Male 3.5" female somewhat smaller
Gender: Male picutured female are somewhat less colored and lack the lyretail
Perferred Water Conditions:Slighty Acidic
Care:Semi difficult need pristine water conditions with good filtration and regular water changes.
Comments: They are considered rare - semi rare fish as they don't do well in fish store tanks as they are sensitive to water changes and need to be kept in the best possible water conditions as possible. Breeding is somewhat difficult but with proper care and water conditions can be accomplished, not for the beginner breeder. One of the many beautiful Dwarf Cichlids
