My Resume
My name is Charles Marion, but everyone calls me Chuck. I come from Syracuse, NY, home of the NCAA basketball champions, Syracuse Orangemen. I’ve been a huge fan of them all my life, so last year was awesome when they finally won. Its nice living in Syracuse, because it is close, and I can go home without too much of a problem if I need to. My family consists of my mother, my father, and my brother who is one year younger than myself. My brother and I both play soccer. Last year we had a very memorable season on the varsity team. My brother and I started together as the two forwards, which was really fun. We were ranked 1st in the state the whole year, and we were undefeated. We even won sectionals, and I got player of the game in the dome where the Syracuse Orangemen play. It was one of the best nights of my life, and I’ll remember the season forever. My friends from high school and I were very close. We were together all the time. Many of us played sports together, including soccer, and that helped bring us even closer. We enjoyed many activities such s hiking, camping out, skiing, going to the movies, etc. Hiking was especially fun for us though. We like to go to state parks and see the amazing wonders of nature. There are so many beautiful waterfalls in New York, and I have been trying to see them all. Last Christmas I visited Arizona with one of my good friends. The landscape is so amazing there. They have the bluest skies that I have ever seen in my life. I used about five rolls of film on my trip altogether. I have many hobbies to keep me occupied when there is nothing else to do. I enjoy playing pool, and I practice whenever I can. I also am fairly good at most basement style games, such as fooseball, darts, and ping pong. I also play a lot of video games and computer games. I like Nintendo the best out of any system, even tho most people wouldn’t agree. There are many things that I miss about not living at home anymore, even though I would rather be here. First off is my mom’s home cooking! I also miss my friends, as well as general familiarity with everything. I am, although, getting better with my comfort at RIT everyday I’m here.
