Most people these days do not look into your eyes for more than a few brief seconds. And when you try and look into their eyes they quickly look away. Almost as if they are hiding something. In truth they really are. When you look in someones eyes you can sees almost into their mind. You can see their emotions. You can see if they are happy, sad, determined, and/or angry. You can also see anguish. This missurable anguish is cause by the war in which they are fighting, killing, seeing killing, hearing killing. In World War I the people fighting were forced to under go heavy bombardment. Slowly they begin to loose their mind or the loose something else. Joy. With joy gone, their thoughts are filled with the sights, smell, and sounds of war.
