KP-84 King Akira Main Battle Tank - The King of the Battlefield

With the success of the KP-80 in military service, the Sonic Corps Industries design bureau began working on a similar designed machine. It would be dubbed the KP-84 and it would incorporate a lot of the features of the MK-80 but add a slight mix of the Sonic Corps style into it. The KP-84 was a lethal weapon and was first revealed during the Aquatarus Day celebrations as thousands of proud tank crews rolled in the parades. Alongside their KP-80 counterparts, the KP-84s gained universal acclaim as they participated in mock "battles" against other tanks. The tanks were swift and deadly mounting a slightly smaller gun than the KP-80s they were much faster for a heavy tank. Mounting a deadly 160mm gun, the KP-84s saw their baptism of fire during the border campaigns in the Frankreich regions with Eden as Edenian militants took up positions in several border towns. Several units equipped with KP-84s were sent in supported by the 23rd Armed Legion and effectively engaged the militants combat forces.

The KP-84s notched up a considerable kill record for a new combat vehicle scoring kills against 26 tanks, 34 light vehicles, 47 trucks and tractors, 3 bunkers, and 2 light helicopters. The KP-84 was officially titled the "King Akira" after Akira Tanshihana the Divinity of Aquatarus FR. The tank has been issued in large numbers to Armored Forces and specialized combat forces and a number have been exported to allies of the Aquatarian Empire. With the new KP-84A2s and the planned KP-4A3s preparing to enter development and service it appears that the King Akira will continue its frontline combat service for time to come
