Officers Corner Alright, it's crunch time. Prospective Officers, you must convince your fellow Dolphins to vote for you. Be warned, however, that this is not a popularity contest. Rather, it is a contest of service to help your fellow Dolphins have a great year. There is great power and responsibilities that come with being an officer. If you would like to know what the responsibilities are, you need to view the Dolphin Constitution. To persuade fellow Dolphins to vote for you, you need a solid campaign plan. The campaign plan should come from your heart, and it should be what you truly and sincerely feel strongly about. A few examples are raising money to fix air conditioners, buying more computers to help in learning, or going to field trips that enhance student learning, etc... You must make sure your goals are realistic and that they align with student learning. Also, you must be committed, as you will spend your lunch once a week with other officers discussing and debating on issues that will help the Incredible Dolphins stay the best team in BMS. So ask your teachers and parents for help on writing a campaign plan. I will offer one example for a campaign plan that you may or may not use. Remember, if you would like to use it, change it a bit so it belongs to you. Give it your meaning, so the people know that you are sincere and not following the idea of Mr. Fullo.
