Campaign Plan

 

To make a campaign plan, you need to do some serious thinking and hurt your brain.  You must also follow your heart, and do whatever you feel and believe is right.  Answer the following questions honestly?

 

What position am I running for?	What are the issues I wish to focus on?  Or what is your goal?  (remember, choose realistic goals)	What would I do to achieve this goal?	How do I know I can get this job done?
Ex.  President, Treasurer, Senator	Examples:  Fixing air-conditioners, going on more educational field trips, raising money to buy computers	To fix the air conditioners, I can help raise funds by sponsoring car wash, dances, etc..	Ex.  I can get the job done because I was an officer last year and I had experience; I can get the job done because I have always been responsible in my classes, etc..

 

After answering those questions, you can make a little speech that goes something like this:

 

“Hi, my name is (your name)  I am running for (your position) and I hope to win your vote.  My goal for this team is to (write your goal above).  I can do accomplish this goal by (write down what you would do to reach your goal).  Although there are great people running against me, I feel that I deserve your vote because (write answer for why you believe you’re the best candidate for the job).
