Welcome. You have reached the Dark Duelist center for information. It is good to see that you have made it this far. Few duelists can take the power of the Dark Duelists, and fewer still become one; but, you will have your chance today. For the Dark Duelists are looking for new recruits, and you have one chance to become one. If you wish to try and become a Dark Duelists, send your Deck lists, the cards in your Decks, a list of your favorite cards, and other, general biographical information that will be required if you are worthy enough for the title of Dark Duelist. Email all of the information to me at: PainoftheCards@hotmail.com. It is not that easy, however. To become a Dark Duelist takes skill, and quick thinking, and the use of some of the darkest, and harshest cards ever created in all of Duel Monsters. If your email is chosen by the Dark Duelists, you will be required to answer one question, but it is a hard question that will test everything you know about Duel Monsters. If you answer the dueling question right, you succeed and gain the title of Dark Duelist. However, if you fail, you will never be allowed to try again. To be in the Dark Duelists is an honor, not a right. You will be lucky if you are chosen, and luckier still if you prevail. Either way, good luck in your attempts at becoming a Dark Duelist. I hope you find all you need to prepare within this website.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
An Interview with Master Pain of the Cards

Q: What is a Dark Duelist, exactly?
A: A Dark Duelist is a member of the realm of duelists that duels not for good, not for wealth, not for glory, but for pride, power, and to watch the opponent suffer every second possible.

Q: What do I get for being a member?
A: If you are worthy enough of becoming a member, every week there will be a highlight page for the best Dark Duelist member (other than myself, of course), the best Deck, and the best combo written in by a Dark Duelist.

Q: How do I prepare for the question I may get?
A: The question will be hard. It will be a tight situation in which one wrong decision, and you lose, one right decision, and you win. If you are able to unravel the way to win, despite all of the things against you, then you will prove yourself worthy of becoming a Dark Duelist.

Q: What all do I send in my email before I may receive my question?
A: You need to send your Name, Dueling Name, Deck List (including cards within), Deck Name(s), City of Residence, Age, Gender, and any other information you would like to provide.

Q: How did you come to be the leader of the Dark Duelists?
A: There may be other Dark Duelists out there, but I am the leader of this branch. I become one when I finally created my most powerful deck to date - the Fiend Deck.

Q: What about your name? Where did it come from?
A: I thought of Pain of the Cards when I watched Yugi Moto defeat so many duelists on the show by using the Heart of the Cards. I felt it was sappy, and that the true power of the cards is not in their heart, but in the pain they can and will put your opponent through. Thus, I became Pain of the Cards, but once I got better at dueling, and gathered more rare and powerful cards, and made nine more decks (for a total of ten), I took on the name Pain for short, but now I go by Master Pain, mostly. That is what you must refer to me as if you do become a Dark Duelist, not Pain, not Pain of the Cards, and not my real name.

Q: What is your real name?
A: It will not be given other than to those I feel worthy of having it.

Q: Will you ever go back to dueling the way you used to? Or are you always going to be a Dark Duelist?
A: I will always be a Dark Duelist. The ways of Yugi Moto are honorless. I believe in the ways of Marik, Bakura, and Seto Kaiba, over the fool Yugi and his friends.

Q: Are there any duelists you do respect, other than Marik, Bakura, and Seto Kaiba?
A: Yes - Mai Valentine. She duels with speed and power, and will do everything in her power to make her opponent feel the wrath of her cards. I even have a deck in tribute to her - my Female deck, which includes Injection Fairy Lily, Dark Magician Girl, and, of course, the Harpie Ladies.

Q: Any last comments, to help others know what Dark Duelists are all about?
A: Yes. To those of you who wish to become a Dark Duelist, you better prepare yourself for the hardest time of your life. Even if you make it, it will be a long time before you reach my skill level, but even I need to improve, so it will take a long time to catch up to my speed. For those of you who side with Moto and his friends, I hope that you know there is someone out there far worse than Marik or Bakura combined - ME - and I will make all of you feel the full extent of the pain of the cards.
