After working for 28 years at MetLife, I retired in 1992 as a Manager in the Group Insurance Marketing Department. While at Met I did extensive traveling, mostly to off-the-beaten track places. My position involved working with Benefits Personnel at major U.S. companies to design and implement changes to their Group Insurance plans. When a buy-out offer came out in 1991, I decided that I'd been there, done that and it was time to move on.

Joe and I have been married for 24 years, having met at MetLife. We have no children but the grandnieces and grandnephews are now arriving quickly. We've lived in Manhattan for all our married life but have had weekend homes in northeast Pennsylvania (too rural for us city folk) and most recently in Pawling, NY. Since retiring from Met, I've had a series of interesting part-time jobs including working for a rare and out-of-print book search firm. Currently I am assisting in a company that develops and conducts workshops for the financial services industry. Joe and I have been in Ireland several times, try to get to Maine at least once a year and have taken several cruises. I'm also taking bridge lessons since I never learned to keep score, despite the many hours and cut classes spent in the "caf".

I'm looking forward to reunion and seeing everyone in June.

After 43 years in southern CA, Tom and I moved to Carson City, NV to enjoy retirement. It is beautiful here in the Sierras. We love the 4 seasons, the snow, the hiking on the Tahoe Rim trail and all the other outdoor activities. Our children still live in CA. Our married daughter, Ann-Mattia and our married son, Tom live with their families in southern CA, as does our youngest son, Patrick. Our son Paul, newly married and his wife live in San Francisco. Tia and husband Mike have 2 daughters -- Ashley, age 7 and Marissa, age 5. Tom and his wife Aki have 1 son, Adam, age 6. Tom and I are often on the road to visit our precious grandchildren and of course, their parents and Patrick and the newly weds, Paul and Jessica. We enjoy traveling in our spare time and have a trip planned to England and Scotland in between Tom's 50th reunion at Fordham Prep on May 17th and our reunion. Here in Carson City, I am involved with the Friends of the Library and the Women's Guild in our parish. I thank God for the many blessings in our lives. See you at the Reunion.

Five more years – more wrinkles, less agility, two more grandchildren, fewer hours at work, much joy, a little sorrow. My husband has been dead for 18 years which seems quite unbelievable. At the time I really thought that I would never be happy again; however, God is truly good and I have been blessed abundantly. Life is wonderful and I rejoice in my blessings.

I am still working as a CPA but only three days a week and have a small private tax practice. The joys of my life are my five sons and three grandsons. (Yes, we seem to specialize in males.) Three of my sons and all of the grandsons live very close by which means that they get to spend much time with their ‘Nana Fishie’ (so named because I am the grandmother with fish in her pond.)

I still love travel and go as often as time and finances permit. Since last reunion I spent my travel time within the US – Alaska on a cruise, Oregon to visit friends, Missouri and North Carolina to visit family and Colorado for a quilting course. I am looking forward to a trip to Russia right after reunion. I am still a season ticket holder for the NY Yankees.

Forty-five years since graduation – it can’t be!
