Here ya find my opinion on movies/books, that kinda thing. Yes, I do have an opinion on everything. I fancy myself a bit of a movie/book connoisseur, as I do on everything else ;). I'm a pretty tough critic on everything, and if I like it, it's at least worth checking out.
And no, you don't have to agree with me, but it is quicker.

Movies
My favorite actors/actresses are: Sandra Bullock, Kiefer Sutherland, Sean Connery, Jim Carrey, Tommy Lee Jones, Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Alec Baldwin, Michelle Pfeiffer, Anthony Hopkins, George Clooney, Christina Ricci, Reese Witherspoon, and Kathy Bates.
I love cheesy horror films. Everything from Nightmare on Elm Street to Halloween to the Hell Raiser movies. I remember a horror film I saw years and years ago when I was in grade school. I believe the name of it was 'Rocktober Blood'. I've looked and looked for it again and have yet to find it. It scared the shit outta me when I was a kid, wanting to see if it still would now that I'm a 'big bad grown-up'. :p
Let's see.. Movies I'd recommend:

What Lies Beneath Michelle Pfeiffer, Harrison Ford: This link tells a bit about it, but what it tells I didn't figure out till I watched the movie. If ya haven't seen it, just go rent it and don't bother with this link. Could ruin it for you.
Stigmata Patricia Arquette, Gabriel Byrne: I loved this movie. I watched it for the first time when I was living with my ex. Scared the shit out of me. I made him come upstairs with me when I took a shower for about a week afterwards. He of course, thought I was a complete weenie.
Primal Fear Richard Gere, Edward Norton, Laura Linney: I thought this movie was great. Others I know that have seen it disagreed. Who cares what they think anyway right?
A Time to Kill Samuel L. Jackson, Matthew McConaughey, Kevin Spacey, Brenda Fricker, Oliver Platt, Charles S. Dutton, Ashley Judd, Patrick McGoohan, Donald Sutherland, Kiefer Sutherland: Out of all the movies I've seen, this one still remains my very favorite. I usually watch movies originating from books I liked, but in this case, I saw the movie first. And for the first time ever, I preferred the movie.
Red Dragon Anthony Hopkins, Edward Norton, Ralph Fiennes, Harvey Keitel, Emily Watson, Mary-Lousie Parker, Philip Seymour Hoffman: I've loved all the Hannibal movies so far. Just saw this one tonight.
Clerks Brian O’Halloran, Jeff Anderson, Marilyn Ghigliotti, Lisa Spoonauer, Jason Mewes, Kevin Smith: On the lighter side... I have a pretty warped sense of humor, and I found this movie hilarious.
The Ring Naomi Watts, Martin Henderson, Brain Cox, David Dorfman, Daveigh Chase, Lindsay Frost, Amber Tamblyn, Rachael Bella: Everyone and their dog has probably seen this one already. But if not go.. Go. What are you waiting for?! For those of you that have seen it, let me tell you, I don't scare easily, but I refused (flat out refused) to touch my TV for a week. And I kept a plugged-in hair dryer next to my bed just in case some drippy chick came crawling out of the screen (ok, not literally, but still it was a thought). When the week had passed I stayed out all night so I wasn't alone when 3AM (the time I watched it) came around. :p Scary scary. And yea, I'm a weenie.
13 Ghosts Tony Shalhoub, Embeth Davidtz, Matthew Lillard, Shannon Elizabeth, Rah Digga, F. Murray Abraham, JR Bourne, Alec Roberts: Wasn't the scariest movie I've ever seen (not even close) but it's worth watching once (more than once would be overkill and probably a waste of time).
Ice Age I loved this movie. Loved it I tell ya. I don't usually rush right out and buy movies I've already seen, but this one I did. Go see it.
Double Jeopardy Tommy Lee Jones, Ashley Judd, Benjamin Weir, Jay Brazeau, Bruce Greenwood, John MacLaren (III), Ed Evanko: Another good one. I haven't seen it for awhile so I don't remember much except the fact that I really liked it.
Bound Jennifer Tilly, Gina Gershon, Joe Pantoliano, Andy Wachowski, Larry Wachowski: I read the description of this movie off the back of the case and thought "uh, no". Because I like Jennifer Tilly I went ahead and rented it... And was very very impressed (and now also madly in love with Gina Gershon).
The Others Nicole Kidman, Fionnula Flanagan, Alakina Mann, James Bentley, Eric Sykes: This movie wasn't as good as I'd hoped from the previews, but wasn't bad at all. Unlike The Sixth Sense in which after about 15 minutes I leaned over to my friend in the theater to say "betcha he's dead". The ending of The Others caught me off guard.
Ocean's 11 George Clooney, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts: I've seen this movie a thousand times already. Watch it once, and you probably will too.

I'm certain I'll be adding to this, but at the moment it's 4:45AM and I'm not thinking of any more at this time.

Authors/Books
Stephen King - Right off I can't think of a book by him that I didn't like. Favorites being: The Stand, Needful Things, The Dead Zone, and Carrie.
V.C. Andrews - My Great-Grandma got me hooked on this author. My favorite so far is probably the Casteel series, although I have read all but the last few series published (I haven't read much lately). I have read each more than once. V.C. Andrews (Virginia Cleo) died in 1986, But her legacy lives on.
John Saul - Another great author. I haven't read everything of his, but quite a few. This is one of the few authors I watch out for books by. Favorites so far include: Hellfire and The Homing.
Dean Koontz - Another King/Saul type author. Favorites by Koontz include: Hideaway (the movie was good as well), Strangers, and Phantoms.
Orson Scott Card - I have only read one book by him seeing as the majority (of those I've seen) are science fiction which I don't care for. I have read The Lost Boys (not to be confused with the movie). And it is one of the best books I've read.
