Full squad which played in the 2002/03 season- Andy Regan.Paul Simpson.Scraggsy,Dean Brown,Paul Leyland,Carl Coombes,Andy Stainton,Paul Richardson,Shawn Richardson,Paul Barrass,David Hill,Pat liever,Nathan Liever,Jim White,David Watkins,Matt Frow,Karl Taylor,Keith,Dominic Reed,Stephen Moore,Richard Ashmore and manager Andy Coombes. Below is a report which appeared in the Gainsborough Standard at the end off last season. To conclude this round up the division 4 fixture between Celtic Park Rovers and Gate Inn Sutton which resulted in a 3-3 draw.Gate Inn by collecting this point have finished in a very creditable fourth position while Celtic Park Rovers are in bottom place with 7 points. This is not the full story regarding Celtic Park Rovers. They have been run single-handedly by Andy Coombes and have not had a very succesfull first season in the league. However despite conceding over 100 goals they have played in a sportsmanlike manner throughout the season and have had no sendings of or cautions and have been no problem for referees and opposing teams. This in stark contrast to some of the reports the league receives detailing violent conduct, foul language and abuse of referees which has lead to several referees giving up the game.Celtic Park Rovers have been a credit to the league whereas the appauling behaviour of some clubs leaves their continued membership of the league in doubt. there will be a update to this site in a weeks time.
