Fight Club -Stars Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, and Helena Bonham Carter.

A ticking-time-bomb insomniac (Norton) and a slippery soap salesman (Pitt) channel primal male aggression into a shocking new form of therapy. Their concept catches on, with underground "fight clubs" forming in every town, until a sensuous eccentric (Bonham Carter) gets in the way and ignites an out-of-control spiral toward oblivion. (139 minutes)

IN MY OPINION-Fighting, Thinking, Philosophizing. Would've been a 10 if not for the ending, which was kind of confusing.

Overall Rating= 9.5

The Fast and The Furious-Stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and Rick Yune.

On the turbo-charged streets of Los Angeles, every night is a championship race. With nitro-boosted fury, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), rules the road turning all his challengers into dust. He and his rival, Johnny Tran (Rick Yune) are the boldest, the baddest and the best. But now, there's new rage on the road. They know he's tough, they know he's fast, but what they don't know is that he's a speed demon detective (Paul walker) with enough drive and determination to come out the winner. (107 minutes)

IN MY OPINION-Sweet Cars, Racing, and a good cast. Could've used some more American cars. There were only two in the movie and one got totaled. IF Vin Diesel doesn't star in the sequel he's not that bright.

LATER NOTE-introducing the __- and __+ rating. Movies that get better or worse with repeated viewing.

Overall Rating= 9.8-

Gone in Sixty Seconds-Stars Nicolas Cage, Angelina Jolie, Giovanni Ribisi, and Robert Duvall.

Legendary car booster Randall "Memphis" Raines (Cage) thought he'd left the fast lane behind-until he's forced out of retirement in a do-or-die effort to save his kid brother (Giovanni Ribisi) from the wrath of an evil mobster! But with speed to burn and attitude to spare, Memphis hastily re-assembles his old crew-a rogues' including Academy Award winner Robert Duvall-and floors it in a full-throttle race to pull off the ultimate car heist: 50 exotic beauties in 24 hours-and the cops are already on to them!. (118 minutes)

IN MY OPINION-Sweet Cars, good plot, and a good cast. Could've shown more of the cars that they stole, we only got to see about 10%(estimate) of them.

Overall Rating= 10.0

X-Men-Stars Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, James Marsden, Bruce Davison, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, Ray Park, and Anna Paquin.

Born into a world filled with prejudice are children who possess extraordinary and dangerous powers-the result of unique genetic mutations. Cyclops unleashes bolts of energy from his eyes. Storm can manipulate the weather at will. Rogue absorbs the life force of anyone she touches. But under the tutelage of Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart), these and other outcasts learn to harness their powers for the good of mankind. Now they must protect those who fear them as the nefarious Magneto (Ian Mckellen), who believes human and mutants can never co-exist, unveils his sinister plan for the future. (104 minutes)

IN MY OPINION-Great special effects, good script, good cast, mutant powers. Could've easily been a ten, but where is Beast, Gambit, Night crawler, and Morph?

Overall Rating= 9.5
