The Government & Their Own Drug Game
People must be made to realize that the Gov't made the drug game easier. After the civil rights explosion of the 60's, when people of color started rioting for equal rights, drugs and prisons multiplied alarmingly. The drug game gives a deceptive sense of opportunity. In reality, it is a trap off! Drugs aid in keeping potential Revolutionaries pacified or killing each other. It's no wonder you don't see groups like the Black Panthers anymore. A proportionate number of our troopers are medicated or side tracked by the drug game.
The US Government has long been the biggest drug dealer in the world back to World War II when the office of strategic services (predecessor of the CIA), made deals with Corsican heroin traffickers and heroin dealer Lucky Luciano to prevent Communist from gaining political support in post war France and Italy. Against the 1949 Chinese revolution, the CIA funded the anti-communist Guomindag in part with Burmese Opium.
Similarly, during the US dirty, losing Vietnam War, the CIA used Laotian Hmong tribe men to deliver Opium. Shipping it out on the CIA's Air America. During the 1980's the CIA ran heroin to fund Islamic fundamentalist Mujahedin fighting the Soviet - backed government of Afghanistan. After the Sandanistas came to power in Nicaragua in 1979, CIA cronies traded drugs to arm the counter-revolutionary contras.
It was because of the above that the crack epidemic flooded our streets. Brought in by Government and sold at low prices to the poor and people of color and poor. The state of California at this time has a law suit pending against the Government over this. Many states were selling this low costing drug. In NY many police precincts are like wise being sued, for dealing in the drug game. Just like California's rampart crash division. Millions of our men, women and children are dying due to this drug epidemic. These drugs are doing more harm to our people than if a radio active bomb was dropped in all our ghettos! This too is a slow death.
Speaking of being bombed my love and respect to Mumia Abu Jamal and Ramona Africa, survivors of the 1985 bombing of the MOVE group in Philadelphia. A bombing led by the state, burning down to the ground and destroying 62 homes - an entire neighborhood, on May 13th, killing 11 MOVE members: including 5 children. State police used an airplane to bomb innocent people. RIP.
Recently, the head of the US anti drug operation in Columbia, Colonel J. Hiett and his wife confessed to running their own drug smuggling operation, shipping cocaine home in diplomatic pouches!! This is merely the analog of what most every kop in the American ghettos does after a bust; first confiscate the drugs then sell them. And, of course, the Hietts sentence was no where near as severe as those meted out to hundreds of thousands of blacks and Hispanic youth ensnared by the fake war on drugs. Most state and government workers get away free. This war on drugs is the biggest scam being played on the public. (Over 20 years and it looks like drug dealers are winning the war on drugs go figure?!?!). It's a scam used to boost votes and look good. The sad part is that the same people falling for this scam are also the VICTIMS!!! The poor people of Columbia are also victims. The US is now threatening to attack the peasants of Columbia in full out war and backed by the puppet regime the US has there Victory to the FARC - EP revolutionaries there who are fighting for the poor in that country.
We need to study the cause of our social ills. Find out why the drug game exists in the first place. The problems lie in the lack of programs, jobs, schooling and constructive choices for our youth. It never fails to amaze me how many people want to blame our youth for them, then scratching them off as delinquents. They want us to give up on our youth. If you give them real opportunities, most young drug dealers would live a straight life. Don't blame them, blame the type of system we live in. A system that leeches's off the poor. Help bring about some real change.
In 1984 California built 21 prisons and only one university. Mostly whites will go to the university and people of color will fill all 21 prisons. There are over 2 million men, women and children in our prisons, 5 million more are on some type of supervised release. Getting upset at our kids for turning to the drug game is like getting mad at your cat for shitting in your bedroom. Had you given the cat the tools and resources (kitty litter) he'd never shit in your room; and if you give our youth the tools for trade and life, AND SUPPORT, they wouldn't shit in their own backyard.
The reality is that our system is built in a way that crushes and oppresses people of color - while claiming to be the land of freedom and opportunity. This land of the free has more people of color than did the racist South Afrikkkan apartheid before Mandela and more prisoners than China whose population exceeds ours by almost a billion. Yet, we still vote for guys like Bush and Gore who are against workers, people of color, the poor and are for the racist death penalty. In some people's eyes, Bush is a serial killer; having executed 150 men on the death chair. Some innocent. Like Shaka Sankofa, (Gary Graham). Innocent men who were guilty for being black!
There is a solution. Re-educating our youth. Giving them better choices than the drug game. Teaching them about revolutionary history and socialist change!!!
