The last two days I've had outdoor extra shoots. "Joan of Arcadia" was in a park all bloomin day and yesterday was a new drama called "Clubhouse" in a baseball stadium. Needless to say, my face is quite burnt. Luckily, nothing else is. But I did wakeup this morning to my lips being so swollen and inflamed from the burn. I'll tell you now, I would not look good with botox.
The "Clubhouse" shoot was awesome because Dean Cain stars in it. As someone who rarely watched "The New Adventures of Superman," I'm recently discovering how hot he indeed is. Let's face it, he has a smile to die for and he looks great in baseball pants! Jeremy Sumpter, the kid from "Peter Pan" is also in the new show. He also is extremely attractive (for a 15 year old) but I hear he's such a little stuck up brat. Even though the show is from Aaron Spelling, I hope it's good because I think it's a good concept for a show about a baseball team. And where else can you see Superman and Peter Pan playing baseball!?
Yesterday at Swordplay had me being the "hero" for our choreographed scenes. Me vs. 3 other people. Needless to say, I kicked all their asses! WOOT!
So this weekend I'm going to see "The Villiage" and "Garden State." Personally, my feelings are that if you don't like M. Night Shamaylan and his movies, you just don't get them. His movies have such amazing themes intertwined in them that you have to be plain dumb to not enjoy them. Needless to say, I'm excited for "The Village" because it looks bloomin scary plus Joaquin Phoenix is in it. "Garden State" is the new brain child from Zach Braff of "Scrubs" fame. I love Zach Braff. I think he's one of the funniest actors out there right now. The trailer for this movie had me all up in a roar to see it, and that was 5 months ago. I've probably seen the trailer 60 times, plus I got the song from the trailer and all the music that band (Frou Frou) has done. They're brilliant...check them out.
