The Angels brought their record to 9-3 after a 7-0 win over the Mets. Kevin Farrell and Mike Mulligan combined for a complete game shutout. Farrell finished with 7 strikeouts, while Mulligan had 8 K's on the day.
The Angels will go one on one with the Dodgers for the championship, a 5:30 game on Monday at the Kennedy Field. The team looks ready to play according to Coach Morey. "Although I've missed a few games, I still noticed the Angels haven't missed a beat," said Morey. "They look like the next champions."
Angels probable starters for Monday are either Mulligan or Farrell. Andrew Pangakis is also on the probable list.
The season is coming to an end and no better way to end it than with a win Monday. Good luck Angels.
