Fizzgig came from a mill situation but was lucky to be rescued at 3 months. He was emaciated, flea-ridden, had worms and was completely listless. He has been the only rescue who has come away from his mill life emotionally healthy.

Fenris was our first pomeranian and made us all fall in love with the breed! She came from a breeding situation where she was kept in a small cage for the first two years of her life. She couldn't be sold because of her health problems so she was bred (!?) which almost killed her. When she came to us she could only hide in the pantry because she was afraid of open space. Look at her now!

According to Flawdogs, the puppy mill rescue in Missouri where Tater Tot (named for his dancing namesake) and Franklin came from, "Tater Tot is a one man circus...he is overweight, but has a coat that is so thick and heavy that he looks very much like a hairy bowling ball. He is probably under two years of age and is as playful as a little puppy. He loves toys almost as much as people. He dances for attention, as most pommies do, and will always belly up for a good tummy scratching. This little lovebug is a real prize and will be adored by the lucky folk who choose him for their pet. hopefully, his new owner will hold back on treats (hard to do, as he is a little gourmet) to get him back to his ideal weight. "
"FEED ME!"

From the Flawdogs website:
"Franklin is not sick, needs no medication, but will probably always need gentler handling....his is spunky, happy, playful, and trusting...none of those things should be true. the profuse scarring down his back from head to tail is a testament to a very rough period in his life. whether it is burn scars or a really bad car accident, we can only guess. He has an old broken leg...healed well enough for him to run like the wind, but not quite enough to jump on furniture. he is growing a lot of hair now, and the scar is likely to be mostly covered, eventually. the scar tissue is very thin (and itchy), so he adores being rubbed and gently scratched. This little dog has survived against all odds, and deserves a home that will treasure him. "
