Redding Ridge Cemetery is located on Black Rock Turnpike (Route 58) in Redding, Connecticut. Headstones date back to the 1800s and there are many modern-day burials contained within. Redding Ridge has one famous inhabitant: Gilbert T. Fox (29 November 1915 - 15 May 2004). Fox was a cartoonist whose work includes the "Plastic Man" comics, "Betty Boop" cartoons, the newspaper strip, "Side Glances," and the television series, "Muppet Babies" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." Unfortunately, I was unable to locate Mr. Fox's memorial during my sojourn to Redding Ridge.

"I am a memory always in our hearts.
I am autumn winds that blow,
I am diamond glints on snow.
I am flowering spring rains,
I am summer sun on ripened grain.
I am an eagle in flight,
I am stars that shine at night."
