As we’ve gone through our high school years, we’ve anticipated this very day.
A time when we’d be independent, yet in fear of going our separate ways.
We’ve longed for “times to come”, and for what the future has to offer.
We’ve built everlasting friendships, and we’re ready for tomorrow.

Through all the difficult tasks, the hard times and the struggles,
We’ve remained ever close – all sisters and brothers.
We’ve learned so much from one another, through good times and through sorrow,
We’ll forever remain in each other’s hearts, we’ll still be there tomorrow. 

This world is ever changing, and nothing stays the same,
We must take what we know, face our fears, and strive for prosperity and fame .
We’ve been taught the principles of life through teachers, parents, and friends,
We’re ready for the next step, we’ve reached this task’s end!

As this door begins to close, and we say goodbye to our high school days,
A new door opens, and a lifetime of opportunity awaits.
We’ve proved ourselves to be worthy, we’ve proved ourselves to be true,
Congratulations and best wishes to the Class of 2002.
