Angels are among us; they walk on our streets

They comfort and protect us during our suffrage and times of grief

They bring a smile to our face and a tear to our eye

They help you see the good in things; they help you get by

Without you, I would have never made it this far

You’ll truly never know just how important to me you are

There will always be a special place for you deep inside my heart

And I hate to see you go away; I hate to see us part 

You’ve got your life ahead of you, so spread your wings and fly

Just promise you won’t forget about me, as time may quickly go by

Don’t ever forget what you’ve done for me; I owe my life to you

I’ll thank God for eternity for sending an Angel so true.
