Welcome to the language of the Crilatsecal, which I'm calling Crilatse after it's speakers.

The Crilatse would probably call it "ssatecucal atascat," or "our words," but that's a mouthful.

I've actually got enough words done to make spreadsheets:

Nouns - Cuacal

Verbs - Alaracal

Adjectives - Cushtasacal

Now for a bit of grammar. Sorry it's so long:

Quick jumps:

Verb Conjugation:

There are four types of regular verbs: -al, -el, -il, and -cul.

They are conjugated by removing the ending (-al, -el, -il, or -cul) and adding the following endings:

Person

-Al Verbs

-El Verbs

-Il Verbs

-Cul Verbs

I

-at

-et

-it

-cuat

they

-asac

-esac

-isec

-cuasac

you (plural)

-atuc

-etuc

The verb cul (to be) is irregular and is conjugated thus:

I am

cuat

You are

catu

He / She / It is

catas

We are

cuatac

They are

cuasac

You (plural) are

cuatuc

In the Past Tense, the verb endings are as follows:

He / She / It was

cuaet

We were

cutae

They were

cusae

You (plural) were

cuet

To make a verb into a noun (like "to see" into "sight"), remove the ending from the infinitive and add -ac.

example: tirstal(to see) becomes tirstac(sight)

If the name includes the person (hard to explain, but imagine that you want to specify person), just add -ac

To personize a verb ("walker" from "to walk"), add -atse at the end of the infintive form of the verb.

Example: "Walker (one who walks)" is ssiculatse, from ssicul

Negation is accomplished by adding up- in front of the verb.

example: "I don't see" is "Uptirstat."

Sentence structure:

Sentences are arranged in a S_O_V pattern.

Example: "I am a man" is Arussca cuat.

Example 2: "The woman has blue eyes" is Su arusscast tefcacal huraca arses.

Adjectives and adverbs are placed immediately or as close as possible to the word they modify.

Example: "We do not have yellow and green feet." is Fulhassacal tasus te ssura uparsetac.

Nouns

To pluralize nouns, add -cal to the end (just -al if the word ends in c)

To show possession, add -scat to the end of the possessor and put it after the possession.

Example: "the man's eyes" is su tefcacal arusscascat

To feminize any noun, add -st at the end.

Pronouns

These are the personal pronouns. They can be used either as subjects or objects.

at

you

atu

he

as

she

asu

Stress

Here are the rules for stress (curlac)

1. Accent the third-to last syllable unless

2. Vowel combinations are in the same syllable.

3. Do not count affixes as syllables, and they are never accented.

4. Monosyllabic words are never stressed.
