Welcome to my website, Garrett Allen, please enjoy your stay and I hope you find out a little bit more about the band called The Doors. In the late 1960's four aspiring artist form the group The Doors. At first they were going to call themselves The Doors of Perception but decided to go with The Doors. They were a mix of bluegrass, jazz, and acid rock. Jim Morrison was a troubled teen but enjoy writing and singing music. He exceled in the world of arts, producing small films, books of poetry, four albums, and much much more. He often got in trouble with the law and with drugs as all artist from this time period. It was a time of finding yourself and exploring the world around us. The Doors were a great band and their music continues to sell to this day.
