First, I would like to thank each and every one of you for supporting Team Nonna on our efforts to raise money for the Making Strides Breast Cancer Walk 2005.
This past Sunday October 16, Team Nonna started out in Central Park at 9 am for a 5-mile walk. We had our team Nonna hats on and all dressed in pink.
We joined thousands of women, men, and children on this amazing journey.
It was a remarkable feeling to be part of an event that will help make a difference!
All the donations collected will support the American Cancer Society's lifesaving research, education, advocacy, and patient service, and it will send a message to cancer patients and survivors everywhere that HOPE STARTS HERE!
A very special thank you goes out to all the generous spirits & kindhearted people who walked, donated, or just said a quiet pray for Nonna. She is in the central point of treatment and is doing fine. Every day brings on new challenges for her and us as well, but together we can overcome all that comes our way! She has and always will be our guiding light.
With all your help and thoughtfulness - in just under 2 weeks Team Nonna Raised over $2,500 Dollars!!!!
