Ronaldinho set to stay with Barca
The Barcalona president Joan Laporta today returned from Brazil after talks with their star player Ronaldinho.The new contract has increased the samba stars wages to 125,000 euros a week.This will come as a huge relief to Barca's fans after fears Chelsea would capture him.The contract includes a 100 million buy out clause as requested by the player.The contract will tie him down for a further 3 years.It is also come clear Edgar Davids has been offered a 3 year deal but he fancys a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Juventus chase Vieri
Juventus today confirmed talks with Inter Milian over striker Christian Vieri.The former Juventus star is top of new manager Fabio Capello's wish list.Vieri was a fans favourite and would welcome a move back to his former club.The only stumbling block would be his cost price.Inter value him very highly but Juventus have to work on a tight budget.Capello would love to see Vieri at the Stadio Del Alpi as he looks to challange for both domestic and european honours.
