   The story line to this episode is very simple. Greg Arkin is an obsessive bug collector who is also obsessed with the beautiful Lana Lang. After Greg's mom finds out he has been stalking Lana, she signs him up for military school. He runs away with his bugs and gets bitten by kryptonite infected bugs which gives him insect like powers. He uses these powers to eat his mother.

   Greg captures Lana and runs away to a secret tree house. Clark and Whitney go after them to save Lana. In the end Clark crushes Greg in an abandoned factory filled with kryptonite and Whitney gets the girl. However Clark returns Lana's necklace to her on top of her doorstep and runs away.
