As I am getting ready to leave for the "real" world, I have realized that I won't be making it back to my family as much. This last holiday season was probably my last unless I decide to go back to finish my degree and become a college student again. I am not really sad for Jersey Shore doesn't feel like my home anymore and as much as I love my family I would rather be out on my own than living with them.
My family are not the most normal of people, but that doesn't seem to phase them. Both of my parents are lab techs like they have been most of their lives. My older sister is beginning her senior at St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland and my little sister is working until she begins IUP next fall. We all are pretty geeky, but we enjoy what we enjoy.
