Think Skateboards have released Panco Moler and Jason Masse from the team.

Globe Wildcard Update
Globe got the weekend started with the fourth stop of the Globe Wildcard Series on Saturday October 9 th , 2004. Held at the Grass Valley Skatepark, the cement park served as the perfect terrain and setting for the skate competition. With a DJ playing some tunes, the contestants signed up and all the spectators lined the hill around the park. With a total of 43 entries, only three would make it to LA to compete for the chance to skate in the 2005 Globe World Cup in Australia. After 4 amazing heats, special guest judges from Globe, Mike Peterson, Al Partanen, and Aaron Artis narrowed it down to a 15 man death-match style jam final. Despite all the ripping, only three winners were chosen. On this lucky day the winners happened to be: in 1st place, 15 year old Taylor Bingaman of Cameron Park, CA, in 2nd place, 30 year old Josh Crocket, and in 3rd place 16 year old Tyler Hawkins. Congrats to these guys and thanks to all who attended and skated in the competition! Special thanks go out to the city of Grass Valley, Gus from Goodtimes, and Norcal Globe rep Jay Gatlin. The next stop of the Globe Wildcard Series took place in Vancouver, B.C. on Sunday October 10, 2004. Even with a storm threatening to come all day, the contest went on without a drop a rain and ended up a huge success. Held at the Tswassen Skatepark about thirty minutes outside of Vancouver, 47 skaters competed, while 200 onlookers came out to support. Magnus Hanson took home the first place prize. Not far behind him was Swell Lloydsmith in 2 nd place, followed by John McMartin in third. Big thanks go out to Paul Machnau and Gailea Momolu for judging the contest all day long, Downtown Jay for his announcing skills and tons of help, CFOX radio and their crew, SBC Skate Magazine, Stuck Magazine, and Doug Ludwig our Globe rep. Nice Park. Winners! Globe crew.
Quiksilver Hometown Hero Tour hits South Africa
Quiksilver international skaters Reese Forbes and Dylan Rieder are currently in South Africa taking part in the Quiksilver Home Town Hero Bus Tour which has already visited Johannesburg, Pretoria and Nelspruit. The bus is presently in the Kruger National Park where the boys have been chilling and checking out elephants, lions, baboons and all the other crazy animals indigenous to South Africa. From the Kruger the guys head for WaveHouse in Durban where they'll be trying out the flowrider and stoking the local skaters out with some demos.
