(DS-Starbucks Sunnie/DD-Starbucks Suzzie)

Sweet is showing the same flat-bone dairy style we love so much in her dam. She is a gorgeous chocolate roan color. She has turned out to be yet another Rebel daughter with an outstanding udder. Her first-freshening udder is just what we hoped for with wonderful capacity, all round attachment, perfectly sized and placed teats, greatly improved medial over her dam and a perfectly smooth fore. After her boys were weaned she was milked into a 9-month lactation. She is a real milker even out producing her dam as a yearling. Her first time out in the show ring as a two-year-old second freshener she got a GCH! She was shown at Puyallup fair but unfortunately she decided not to make us any milk on show day. However she was still able to stand with her two paternal sisters for their 1st place senior get of sire. Her first show of 08 Semi Sweet easily finished her championship in the first two rings of a three ring show making her our first ADGA champion.

We are excited to have this beautiful Charity/Rebel daughter. Poppy has wonderful genetics and the sweet personality we have come to expect from Charity's kids. Her litter brother Scamp also remains in our herd. Poppy kidded with triplet bucks sired by Ponders End The Full Monty. Poppy's first-freshening udder is as we would expect having excellent capacity, strong medial, height, and a perfectly smooth fore. She looks so much like her half sister Semi Sweet. She is a doe we always have had a very hard time getting a good photo of these do not do her justice. Poppy went GCH at Puyallup fair in 07. Poppy again went GCH and best udder at Puyallup fair in 08! Due to a late kidding and huge lack of shows in 08 this was the one and only time she has been shown since she went GCH at Puyallup in 07. Poppy Seed should have finished her CH in ADGA in Stanwood on May 9th but due to a terrible mistake on our part we didn't know the show was having a best in show class as they never did there in years before. We left before BIS which forfitted all 3 GCH legs we had that day. Poppy Seed finished her final leg in Chehalis going GCH in the first ring! This doe has now been GCH 5 times in a row under 5 different judges. She has gone GCH EVERY time we put her in the show ring in the past 3 years. Looking forward to now using this girl for our champion challenger.

Sandy is the clown of our herd, and miss personality plus. She is always the first one to find some sort of trouble to get into. The first thing most people notice looking at her is her upstandingness at the withers, this incredible stature combines with outstanding length and width. She came to us an extra kid mainly because we wanted another doe to ship with another doeling. When this doe freshened for the first time we realized she really was the total package in everything we are breeding for and we sure lucked out on this extra kid. Sandy's udder is beautifully shaped and glued on tight with a perfectly smooth fore. In Sandy's first show as a two-year-old she was Res. GCH Senior Doe out of 48 milking does! In 2005 she was GCH Senior at her first show in Chehalis WA then went on to her second show in Roseburg OR taking GCH in the first two rings of a 3 ring show finishing her MCH! All three shows were official ADGA shows but she was not ADGA registered at the time so earned her AGS legs only. Sandy is our first Nigerian to earn a MCH. ADGA Judge commented that with her long bone structure combined with an ideal mammary she is a "rare type among the Nigerian breed" In 07 at the age of 5 another judge said Sandy has the best udder she has ever seen on a Nigerian Dwarf! Jane and Sandy would not breed again this year. We believe they have become cystic so we will be running them through a course of treatment and hopefully be back to having kids soon.

Dam- Esperanza RF Felicity
(DS-PromisedLand LD Royal Flush*S/DD-Esperanza ZZ Charity)

Finally a Monty daughter staying in the herd and a real beauty she is. Betty is looking very correct overall plus having the sweet personality off the Charity line. She kidded with a single blue-eyed doeling sired by Poppy Patch BT Bowtie Optional. Betty's udder is completely glued on all over with a perfectly smooth fore and nice MSL. She has one of the most level toplines around and excellent feet and legs tracking strait in the front and having very tight toes which is something Nigerians often need improvement with. She is a doe we will look forward to showing much more in the years to come. If I could change anything about her I would like to see her a bit more dairy with more length throughout. She was milked into a 8-month lactation. Her first time out as a two-year-old second freshener she placed second to Semi Sweet above in a very competitive two-year-old class. Betty's one and only time being shown in 08 at Puyallup Fair in September she went Reserve GCH! Betty went GCH in the second and third ring at Chehalis. She only needs one more for her CH.

DOB- 3/2/07

Dam- MCH Twin Creeks BW Shining Sand
(DS-MCH Twin Creeks BH Bay Watch*S 'E'/DD- Velvet Acres Lil Deuce Coupe)

Sunshine comes from a crossing of lines we feel should be outstanding especially for udders. Her full brother Billy Whiskers is also in our herd. This little girl freshened in March with exactly the udder we expected from her breeding. Nothing I would change about her udder except more freshenings and the capacity that should come with that. She is a doe who unfortunately like many looks better in person than from the poor photos we have been able to get of her. She placed 1st milking yearling under all 4 judges we had shown under this year. We are so impressed with her we will be retaining her son from Mischief for a herdsire.

Roxie is another Shining Sand/ Rebel daughter. We will see how this younger sister compares to her two big sisters in the coming years. Sadly at 5 months old the morning after she came home from fair Roxie was found with a broken front leg at the growth line. Somebody in the doe pen was not happy to see her come home. After many months in a cast the leg has healed and although we thought she would end up being a brood doe she has no signs of her injury now. Roxie's first-freshening udder looks so far as we would expect from her breeding. Her first show out as a milking doe Roxie went GCH!

Razz should have been bred to kid this past Spring but came down with a cold just when we wanted to get her bred and she didn't settle so she will be turning two and still dry. Razz has finally been bred to Rosasharn UP Bit-a-Mischief*S for Spring 08 kids. Unfortunately Razz had a late kidding that resulted in a very large kid we couldn't get out at kidding time so she had a c-section to save her and the brother of her larger kid. We are retaining her son Doc Crawford(named after the vet who delivered him)we feel Crawford should be the buck to improve teat size when needed. This doe has a fantastic udder that is high, wide and glued on all over! Razz got bred by Playboy by accident during the Summer and kidded perfectly this time without assistance. Her doeling by Playboy is being retained in our herd. Her buckling will be offered for sale as a herd sire. When shown this year Razz has always been near the top of her class. One judge even asked if we could bring Razz and Poppy Seed back after the judging so she could compare their udders side by side. She thought the two had very similar mammaries Razz just needs to be a bit more dairy in body type. So far all the kids she has produced have been more dairy than herself.

Poppy Patch Lil Miss Broadway

DOB- 4/29/07

Sire- Twin Creeks Rebel W/O A Cause*S

Dam- Poppy Patch BT Shirley Temple
(DS-Copper Penny Black Tie Affair/DD-Sugar Creek's PG Jane Seymour)

Broadway is a beautiful young doe with beautiful coloring similar to that of her grandsire Copper Penny Black Tie Affair. She is the first and only doeling out of Shirley. She has 6 full brothers out of the Shirley/Rebel combination. As a second-freshening two year old Broadway consistently placed first in her class at her first show of the year. She was very unhappy about standing for pictures here. We will try to get better photos soon.

Chickadee comes from some of our favorite bloodlines. She is from a line breeding on Twin Creeks BH Bay Watch. Her udder is very wide, high and well attached all round. Her biggest problem is that she tends to put on weight very easily. I would like to put her udder on her sister Darla's nice sharp trim body.

Jane is a very classy blue-eyed doe with very strong general appearance. It is no secret that we are really crazy about this doe. Jane is long, wide, angular, and level and since she was bottle-raised she is super sweet and friendly. Jane's udder is absolutely wonderful all round having tremendous area of attachment, lots of capacity, a smooth fore plus easily milkable teats. Like all the does here she has never been tested for milk production but we know she can really milk. Jane and Sandy would not breed again this year. We believe they have become cystic so we will be running them through a course of treatment and hopefully be back to having kids soon.

Dam- Ponders End PN Ballerina
(DS-Ponders End FR Panache/DD-Ponders End Striptease)

Daisy Mae has been a beautiful kid with all-round excellent general apperance from the time she was born. One of the best all round kids I've seen from Ballerina so far. Plus she has always been a sweet friendly girl. Daisy Mae kidded with a buck and a doe in June. Her first-freshening udder looks to be everything we had hoped for. She is also a super powerful and deep-bodied for a yearling. Sorry for the unclipped photos, she has not yet been shown. She had a skin condition since she was a year old which kept her home. Photos here are still from her as a first-freshening yearling. Unfortunately she is still having a skin condition off and on so we have still never shown her. She is currently going through a variety of treatments with our vet to try to solve the problem and so far the latest treatment is looking promising. Update- Daisy Mae's skin condition appears to have FINALLY cleared up! Her udder is super high and wide as a 3rd-freshening three-year-old. Her first show ever as a three-year-old Daisy Mae went GCH! Unfortunately due to a terrible mistake on our part we didn't know the show was having a best in show class as they never did there in years before and we left before BIS which forfitted all 3 GCH legs we had that day so her win was not official.

Dam- Sugar Creek's PG Jane Seymour
(DS-CH 4 Fun Gay-Mor Lemon Pot-O-Gold*S/DD-Gay-Mor's Blue Looney Meg Ryan 2*D)

Ginger is a littermate to Marilyn Monroe. We couldn't decide between them so we kept them both. She also has one of the most unique colors we have ever seen on a goat. We call it "Ginger brown". Like her sister she is turning out to be a nice dairy type doe which is what we like to see. Ginger kidded in late June with a doe and a buck sired by Picasso. Her first-freshening udder is looking good all round with a long smooth extension to the fore. This doe absolutely refuses to stand for pictures so unfortunately these which do not do her justice were the best we could get for now.

Marilyn is one of triplet doelings Jane and Monty produced this year. She is one of the most flashy kids of the year having a unique orange poka-dot pattern and her dam's blue eyes to top it off. Marilyn is turning out to be a very stylish dairy type doe with long legs and neck and the soft skin texture we have come to expect from Jane's daughters. Her udder has nice sized teats, wonderful all round attachment and a perfectly smooth fore.

1x NDGA Res. GCH Junior Doe, 5/24/03, Jerome Mensch
1x 1st in her class as a first-freshening two-year-old
1x Senior Grand Champion 8/05

Charity is a really pretty, stylish doe with an extremely sweet personality. Charity has wonderful width and depth throughout, sharp, tight withers and a beautiful head and ear set. This doe has an outstanding udder with one of the highest and roundest rear-udder arches we have seen on a Nigerian, along with an extremely long side attachment and ideal teat placement and size. She does not like to be shown in milk which was a huge disapointment knowing how nice she really is. Every time we take her in the ring she roaches up her back and walks stiff in the rear which is not her usual natural shape or gait. Her problem appears to be sensitivity to a full udder. Maybe she will get used to being shown someday but until then she can keep producing beautiful babies. Charity's litter sister MCH ZZ Faith easily finished her championship. Charity was milked into a 8-month lactation this year. Charity did it again with her fourth set of quads in 09. She has never had anything less than triplets.

Thumbelina is very flashy, refined, feminine, and graceful. She has outstanding general appearance, wonderful skin texture, levelness, and angularity. We were pleased with her nice rear leg set being an improvement from her dam in that area. Her udder has an attractive shape with excellent attachments, smooth fore and a high rear. This is an udder so socked on it is never going anywhere no matter how many freshenings. Even with the limited showing we did this year she managed to get 1 Senior GCH and and Best in Show over all the big girls!

Starbucks Dear Abby

DOB-2/8/04

Sire- Starbucks Sunnie
(SS-Karim's Starbuck/SD-Willow Creek Shadow Of Doubt)

Dam- Starbucks Suzzie
(DS-Starbucks Black Jack/DD-Willow Creek Shadow Of Doubt)

Abby is just the type of doe we are breeding for with her clean and elegant dairy style and sweet easy going personality. She as always stood out to us with her long legs and long lean neck as a doe without a bit of "pygmyness" which is something we really like to see in this breed since they are being bred as dairy goats. Her dam- Starbucks Suzzie is a full sister to PGCH/MCH Starbucks Lady Spot. Abby is also from a line breeding off Willow Creek Shadow Of Doubt. Abby has a very nice capacious 2nd freshening udder. We really like the height she shows up into the rear and her smooth fore. She could have a more defined MSL and a bit better teat placement, both a huge improvement we did see in her daughter by Rebel. Sorry for the awful photos, her topline is normally much more level. She was upset because she was hearing her kids call. Better photos soon. Abby was milked into a 9-month lactation this year. She has become a very nice little milking doe.
