Adora aka "brick" was a single doeling out of Daisy Mae and the first kid ever sired by Mischief which made her special. She got her nickname because she is brick red like her Daddy and being a single kid got a bit on the square side at least for now. Adora Belle was bred during Playboy's month in the doe pen this past Summer and kidded with a single doeling months before she herself had her first birthday. Her first-freshening udder is quite small this year most likely because she is a yearling with a single kid but it has smooth strong attachments all round and milkable teats. She was the only yearling doe we took out to the Spring shows just for the experience and because she was the only yearling we had who kidded earlier. To our surprise she did better than our expectations going first in her class every time shown in the Spring(6x first) and reserve in one ring.

Kitty is that kid everyone who visits the farm wants to take home this year because she is flashy, friendly and beautifully put together. Her dam has an attitude that makes her nearly impossible to show so Kitty was bottle raised so we wouldn't have a repeat of that this time around. She has her dam's long legs, neck and sharpness. WOW what an udder!!! This udder is just amazing!! When we filled her for show in August her fore had become even more smoothly blended as her udder developed more later in her lactation. She came in second the one time shown because she was lacking a bit in body depth however the judge said her udder was a beautiful 35 points! Second time shown in 09 at state fair she was 1st yearling milker.

Rhapsody is as close as we have come to having a doeling with Black Tie Affair's coloring and blue eyes. We don't breed for color but can't complain when it happens anyway. The greatest thing about this doeling is not only is she colorful, blue-eyed and well put together she is also a daughter of Twin Creeks Rebel W/O A Cause so we also have an excellent chance for a great udder! Rhapsody freshened with a big handsome single blue-eyed buckling and a beautiful udder! Her udder is very high and wide in the rear although she has some rather badly placed white markings at the top that give the appearance of it being more narrow than what it really is. She needs to be painted but then that wouldn't be legal.

We just love this doeling! She looks more like her dam every day. Dutchess freshened with her dam's first-freshening udder exactly. In all the years raising goats don't think we have every seen a dam and daughter so similar in type. She only had a single kid this year. Will just need another freshening to get her dam's udder capacity. In these udder photos she was also not filled completely but can still see she is going to be great!

Pokie is the litter sister to Angel above and since we finally got girls we had to keep them both! These girls are already showing improvement in dairy character over their dam with a longer bone pattern throughout. With the udder genetics on both sides of their pedigree they could be knockouts. Freshened with a beautiful udder as expected from this cross.

La La is turning out to be a beautiful young doe. She comes from some of our youngest animals in the herd with her sire and dam both being only yearlings this year. La La freshened with triplets and a beautiful udder. She was a bit under-filled when we got these udder shots but we could still see she will be very nice.

Punkin is the litter sister to Bonnie and Georgette. She was the first born and largest at birth. She looks the most like her dam out of the 4 kids. Punkin kidded with triplets and an extremely high and wide rear udder!

Buttons is probably the cutest and sweetest kid we have this year. She is so friendly it is almost annoying sometimes. She is the result of a chance breeding when we were lucky enough to bring her dam back into our herd to have another set of kids sired by Ponders End The Full Monty. This is the same breeding that produced Betty Boop two years before. So far Buttons is a clone of her older sister having not only the exact same strengths but also lacking some in dairiness in the exact same ways. If she gets her sister's udder we can breed up on the rest. Buttons freshened with an udder similar to her big sister's including that famous long smooth fore! Now she just needs the capacity from another freshening to fill it out. sold

Anna Marie is a very friendly and cuddly kid just like her dam. With the pedigree behind her we look forward to seeing how she matures in the coming years. Anna Marie freshened with a very nicely shaped udder with a long smooth fore but unfortunately it is quite lopsided at this time for unknown reasons. Was tested for mastitis and is not mastitis. We will be watching to see if it will even out in time. sold
