In Renee’s apartment after school Salena, Datony, and Renee were talking.
“I can’t believe your dad lets you stay here by yourself.” Salena said amazed
“I know. I’m just happy I’m not living with him and his new wife.” Renee replied bringing in a tray of snacks. “She threatened to send me to boarding school.”
“Your kidding? Boarding school? That’s harsh.” salena said taking a cookie off the tray “Why would she want to send you there?”
Renee looked at a picture on her table “She doesn’t want me near daddy. She doesn’t even love him. She only wants his money.”
“Little does she know, but Renee’s father already had a will made before he married again and left every last cent to Renee.” Datony confirmed
“How do you know?” Salena asked
“I saw the will. His new wife can’t touch anything if he dies. Renee will get a lot of money.” the cat answered
Renee nodded in agreement.
“So how are you and Kenny getting along?” Renee asked
“Fine. Why?” salena replied
“Well it seems over the past few days you and him have been getting really close.” Renee explained “Though i don’t know what you see in him. His polite thing that he does is just an act.”
“Really? I don’t think so.” salena said reaching for another cookie and stuffing it in her mouth.
“I’ve seem it before. Remember i come from a wealthy family.” she explained “My dad has tried fixing me up with countless number of guys. All did it for the money, none of them wanted me.”
“Maybe your jealous Renee.” Datony remarked
“I’m not jealous. Salena can date anyone she wants. I’m just saying be careful. Just remember that ‘The road to hell is paved with good intentions’.”Renee said flatly
“And what’s that supposed to mean?”Salena asked annoyed
“Never mind lets change the subject. I don’t want to end up like Oryan and not have you talking to me.” Renee suggested
“Fine by me.” salena agreed
“So are we going to meet at the park before school tomorrow?” Renee asked
“Yeah. Of course. Are we on for movies this weekend?” Salena asked
“Totally. Are we going to rent movies or go to a theater?”Renee agreed
“Ok then. Why not just rent and bring them here.”Salena suggested
“Sounds good to me.”Renee said sipping her tea “So Datony has that Center control place given you any leads on the enemy?”
“No I’m afraid not. They don’t have any clue on what’s going on with them.” she confirmed “Or at least they say they don’t. They just keep saying to learn from Sailor Moon and the solar scouts mistakes, so i think they know more then they are letting on.”
“Who is they Center?” Salena asked
“I’m not really sure. Sailor Moon’s command center was just Artemis, so maybe there is another guardian cat out there somewhere. We’ll just have to trust them and heed their advise, for now. Once we find the princess we should know more about the Center.” Datony said licking her front paws
“I can’t wait until school is out. I hate school.” Salena said changing the subject
“I know.” Renee agreed “I only like school because it is something to do between weekends.”
The next morning Salena was waiting for Renee at the park with Lizy.
“Salena you should really find a way to stop talking in your sleep.” Lizy suggested
“Why should i?”Salena wondered “Does it bother you?”
“No not me. I think it’s interesting. It tells me that you are remembering the past, wether you want to or not.” Lizy confirmed
“Then why should i?” salena asked
“Because Star is starting to doubt that you are the princess of light. I still believe you are, and i don’t care if you get mad at me for it. I’ll be very surprised if you aren’t. You are having flashback of the princess right?” the small dark blue cat asked
Salena didn’t answer. ~*Yeah i am.*~ she thought
Renee and Datony walked up to Salena. Sharta was with them.
“Hey guys.” Salena said “Ready to go?”
“Yeah. Lets get this day over with.” Renee said
“Sure why not.”Sharta agreed
The three girls walked to school as the two cats walked the other way.
“So has either of you talked to Oryan?” Sharta asked
“No. He won’t talk to me because he knows I’ll tell salena what he tells me.” Renee said
“No. I haven’t. He doesn’t want to talk to me. Which is fine with me.”Salena lied
“Yeah well i have.” Sharta said pulling her gloves off “He’s thinking of moving back to America to live with his uncle.”
“What? Why?” Renee said surprised
“He didn’t give me any reason. He just said he might move back to America.” the tall black haired girl confirmed
“He can’t.” Renee told them “What if we get attacked and we need his help, or if we find the princess?”
“I don’t know.” Sharta wondered
Salena didn’t say anything. She just kept walking as though she hadn’t heard the conversation.
The girls walked in to their separate home rooms. Salena took her seat. She was so deep in thought that she didn’t notice Serena or Molly walk over to her desk.
“Earth to Salena. Hello anyone in there?” Molly said waving her hand in front of her eyes trying to get her attention.
“Hi guys.”she whispered
“Are you ok?” Serena asked
“Yeah. Usually Serena is the space case. What’s up?” Molly asked concerned
“Nothing. I’m fine.” she said still whispering
“Did your cat die or something?”Molly asked
“Or something.”she whispered
At the end of the day Salena and Renee walked to the Video store to rent movies. When they got there they saw Midnight fighting something that looked like a that would come right out of one of R. L. Steins books. It had a human body but with a tail and black bat wings.
“I’m going to transform.” Renee said running into an ally.
When she came back she was in her uniform ready to fight. Illusion ran into the store and shot her attack at the creature. Salena watched from outside. She could see they needed help. She pulled out the scepter and walked in. She stared up at the creature’s eyes and it stared back into hers.
“Scepter Power!”she yelled pointing the scepter at it.
A bright yellow beam shot out of the star on top and charged right for it. The creature charged at the beam and was incased inside it and disappeared.
“Thanks.”Illusion said walking outside to untransform.
Salena turned around and walked out of the store.
“I guess we’ll have to go to another store to rent movies.” Salena said to her friend
“Yeah but first i need to talk to him.” Renee said walking back into the store
Midnight was checking on the store owner to make sure he was alright.
“So are you leaving?” she asked
“Maybe. Why?” he responded picking up a shelf that had fallen down during the attack.
“Because i think you should stay.” Renee answered
“Why should i?”he asked
“Because you belong here. You wouldn’t have come here in the first place if you weren’t destined to be here.” Renee explained
“Yeah well destinies change.” midnight said walking to the window watching Salena.
“She wants you to stay.” Renee said unsure if Salena really did “She won’t say it but i know she would. She’s having a hard time dealing with this to you know. I’ve been talking to Star and Lizy and Salena is starting to think she isn’t the princess. I know she is. She has to be.”
“Yeah well maybe it wasn’t meant to be. So what if she isn’t the princess or even if she is, it wouldn’t matter.” he said facing Renee
‘Why wouldn’t it?” she asked
“Because everyone knows she is meant to be with the prince of darkness. I’m not him.” Midnight said
“How do you know? Do you remember the past?” said Renee with an attitude crossing her arms “I think you might be. And whether you are or not it doesn’t matter. As people grow they change as they change destiny changes. You might be destined to be with her. You never know until it happens.”
“Oh well. I still might move back to America.” he said walking out of the store
“Fine, but if you decide you want to come back and fight along side the scouts again don’t bother. Turn your back on us when we need your help and we’ll do the same.” Renee yelled after him
Renee walked over to Salena who was staring into a jewelry shop window.
“Ready to get some movies?” salena asked looking away from the diamond necklace in the window
“Yeah lets go.” Renee said
“So what was that all about?” salena wondered
“He still might move to America.” she answered

Back in space Kenny was reading a book filled with stories about fairy tales when Nasuri walked in.
“Kensi?” she said not recognizing him in his Earth form.
“Hello Nasuri.” he replied
“I thought that was you. Why are you dressed like that.” the red head asked
“Because i plan to win Salena’s heart before her and that brat Oryan make up.” he answered “Not that it concerns you.”
“Don’t bother. Oryan might move back to America, so just kidnap the girl and get it over with.” Nasuri said harshly
“I will not. I want her to love me before i do anything drastic.” he explained “How did you find out he’s moving?”
“He told me.” she answered
“He just told you. I don’t believe that. The boy is smarter then he looks Nasuri.” Ken/si stated
“Yes well i wasn’t in this form.” she said shrinking into a teenage girl with red hair in pigtails and a crossroads uniform
“So that was you huh? Interesting. Why go around like that? Are you trying to win his heart?” he asked
“Yes i am.” she responded “if you can have the princess then i can have the prince.”
“Are you sure he is the prince?” Ken/si asked
“No, but i think he might be. Even if he isn’t i want him for myself, so stop sending your monsters after him. I don’t send them after the girl so leave him alone.” Nasuri ordered
“How dare you speak to me like that!”ken/si said raising his voice “I can do anything i want and if i want to destroy the boy then i will! You have no say in the matter. Now leave me. I need to brush up on fairy tales to have something to talk about the Salena. She loves fairy tales.”
“Really? Then what’s her favorite?” Nasuri questioned
“I don’t know that’s why I’m ready a book full of them. Now go.” Ken/si ordered

Salena and Renee are at Renee’s apartment. Salena is on the phone with her dad.
“Dad I’m going to stay here at Renee’s for the night.” Salena said into the phone
“I thought you were going to watch the twins for your mom.” Steve said on the other line
“Natasha can do it. Renee’s going to help me with me math. Gotta go. Bye.” Salena said quickly and hung up the phone
“So can you stay?”Renee asked
“Yeah.” Salena answered
“Cool. Ok don’t talk this the wrong way or anything but you seem to be really distant to the rest of the scouts, including your family. What’s with that?” Renee asked
Salena sat down on the couch and thought about that question for a while. She finally answered with “I don’t know. I guess i don’t really want to have anything to do with the scouts. Except you. I’ve known you for years and you know pretty much everything about me.” she said taking her hair out of the pony tails “I don’t want to be a princess or even a scout for that matter.”
“Why not? I think its fun. Yeah the fighting demons and all is tough but it beats being bored all the time.” Renee shrugged
“Yeah well ever since i became a scout i started to realize i don’t know who i am anymore. Am i a scout from the past, a princess from the past, both, or what? Star is starting to think I’m not the princess, Lizy still thinks i am, I don’t think i am and i don’t want to be. I can handle the scout thing, but the princess thing is another story.” Salena replied as the brushed her hair
“Why don’t you want to be a princess? You get to order people around and get your own way. I think it could be fun. Especially since the Princess of Light is supposed to have magical powers.”Renee announced
“I don’t like ordering people around and you don’t get you own way.” Salena confirmed “People are always telling princess what to eat, how to dress, how to walk, talk, sit, stand, and behave. I don’t give orders and i don’t take them either. Someone wants me to do something they have to ask me or i won’t do it.”
“How do you know that’s what goes on?” asked Renee from the kitchen
“How couldn’t you. I mean being royalty can’t be all it’s cracked up to be. They have to have a lot of rules. It’s gotta be like a stupid beauty pageant and you should know. Your dad’s rich. Weren’t there always people around choosing what your going to wear, where your going to go and when?” Salena asked realistically
Renee walked into the living room and sat a tray for sandwiches and hot cocoa on the coffee table and sat down.
“Yeah. All the time. Your right being a princess would suck. I don’t want to be one.” Renee answered flatly “So if your not the princess who is or could be?”
“I don’t know.” Salena said “Maybe Natasha since she is Sailor North Star and that is the brightest star in our sky from what i know.”
“Maybe. Or maybe it’s Sharta. She’s Sailor Shooting Star.” Renee added
“She can’t be. Shooting stars aren’t stars at all. They’re giant rocks flying through space like meteors or meteoroids. So she can’t be. Neither can Aurora. She’s not a star.” Salena explained
“Ok then how about Nova? I never met her but she could be. I don’t know if we even have a Sailor Nova.” Renee stated
“Sailor Nova is my mom. I don’t think she is either because then wouldn’t she have become the princess already?” Salena wondered aloud
“Your mom? Really? Wow your whole family are scouts. Except the twins and your dad. Your dad isn’t a scout is he?” she asked curiously forgetting about the food
“No not a scout. More along the line of protector of scouts. He goes by Night Sky” salena confirmed remembering when her parents told her they were scouts
“Your kidding?” Renee asked appalled
Salena shook her head no “That’s why i try and stay away from them. I don’t want to be lectured about how i could be the princess or how i should be honored to be sailor nebula. Not that i can transform or anything.”
“Have you tried lately?” Renee asked
“No. Why bother. I have the scepter to fight.” she replied
“Yeah but if you could transform you’d be able to fight with more then the scepter. Or maybe you can use more of the scepters powers or something.” Renee said intrigued “Try it.”
“Fine.” Salena said
Salena went over to her bag and pulled out her blue and yellow broach and held it in the air.
“Nebula Star Power!”
Nothing happened. Salena sat back down on the couch.
“Hmm. Maybe your saying changed. Maybe it’s something like Nebula Crystal power or Nebula Cosmic Power. Like Sailor Moon’s. She had many different transformation sayings. So try it.” Renee urged standing up
“Ok if you say so.”Salena said giving in “Nebula Crystal Power!”
Nothing happened.
“Nebula Cosmic Power!” she said getting frustrated
Nothing happened.
“I told you it wouldn’t work.” Salena said sitting down again
“It was worth a try.” Renee shrugged
The girls sat in silence for a few minutes think what could cause Salena to not be able to transform.
“I say we call Serena. She couldn’t transform for a while right?” Renee suggested
“I guess.” Salena agreed indignantly
Salena watched Renee walk to get the phone. Then she thought of something.
“Wait. Maybe the scepter is why i can’t transform. Since it has powers.” Salena said grabbing out of her bag and putting it in the center of the table.
“Yeah! why didn’t we think of it before?” Renee said surprised walking over to the table
Salena and Renee studied the scepter. They looked over every inch of it trying to see how it worked. Then they took the broach and did the same thing.
“Both of them are solid. No holes for screws or lines to hold it together.” Renee exclaimed “I don’t get it.”
“Maybe the scepter and broach can become one and then maybe it will work.” Salena suggested
Salena picked up the broach and scepter and tried to figure out if they were pieces of a puzzle, that maybe the broach could attach to the scepter some how.
“I guess not.” Salena said placing the two object back on the table next to each other giving up.
Unknown to Salena and Renee, Salena’s crystal necklace in her bag began to glow a white light. Again.
