Kensi’s Mission
Out in space somewhere Kensi is talking to Nasuri.
“The sister witches failed. How do you explain this?” he asked
“I’m sorry my lord. I don’t know what went wrong.” Nasuri replied “They did get us some surprising news though.”
“Well what is it?” Kensi ordered
“The scout’s don’t even know if this girl is the princess.” Nasuri said putting up Salena’s picture on a computer that’s way more advanced then Earths.
“Really?” Kensi wondered suspiciously “She does look like her. Her hair is shorter and her eyes are more brown then they were back then.”
“Yes it is. I wonder how we could know before they could.” Nasuri said
“The real question is are YOU sure that she is the princess?” Kensi doubtfully
“I am my lord. This girl has the star scepter and the crystal. I highly doubt that she knows she has the crystal though.”
“How do you know all of this?” Kensi asked looking up at salena’s picture
Nasuri looked lost for words “I’ve been following her and her friends ever since the sister witches found out she is Sailor Nebula. Well was Sailor nebula.”
“What do you mean was?” he asked
“She can’t transform anymore. None of the scouts know what’s wrong.” Nasuri explained
“So she’s completely defenseless?”
“Not quite. Remember she has the star scepter and she knows how to use it.” Nasuri reminded him
“Are the crystal and scepter one?” he asked
“No. She doesn’t know she has the crystal.” she replied
“So how do you plan to eliminate this girl? She has all of the star scouts with her,”he began “1 of the phantoms, the solar scouts, and the prince of Darkness to protect her.”
“The solar’s have their own problems with the moon princess.”Nasuri read aloud from her notes “The prince no longer trusts her because she didn’t tell him about being the princess, though he should have expected it, and the star scouts and the one phantom aren’t much of a fight without sailor nebula or the princess.”
“Who are the star scouts?”Kensi asked waking around the room
“North Star, Shooting Star, Aurora, and Nova, that is with out Sailor Nebula.” she recited “The phantom is Sailor Illusion and the prince shows himself as Midnight.”
“Ah yes. That’s right. Now Nasuri i suggest you find a way to deal with the scouts and the prince. We’ll deal with her later.” Kensi advised “Now leave me.”
“Yes my lord.” Nasuri said bowing respectfully then walking out of the room
Kensi looked up at the picture on the computer screen.
“My my princess you have changed.” he said smiling at the picture“I remember how you were back when your kingdom was well. You were always so sad. You never wanted to stay in the castle or obey the rules.”
He sat down on a large bed covered in black blankets and stared at the picture.
“I remember when you first met me long ago. You snuck out of the castle in commoner clothes, hoping you would find a friend to except you as you are, not as a princess. You were walking past a fruit stand and i saw you for the first time, you were so beautiful in that light pink dress with your hair just right in those two pigtails.” he said remembering still looking at the picture“I looked at you and knew i had to have you. Then i saw him. The prince of Darkness at your side, holding your hand. You looked at him with admiration, the way i looked at you. The prince stole your heart and you stole mine. I saw the way you act when he was around. You were happy. I knew no matter what one day i would win your heart, but when i disguised myself as him and killed your best friend, you still wouldn’t leave him. Now that he isn’t speaking to you i have my chance to have you all for myself.”
Kensi got up off the bed and walked over to a tall cabinet and took out a small bottle that held some kind of blue liquid.
“I have been saving this for when i had the chance to get you for myself.” he took of the top of the bottle and drank every last drop and then his short black hair turned brown and his black eyes turned hazel. His tall stature shrunk down to teenage size. He was wearing a crossroads high school uniform and had on a pair of small glasses.
He turned and faced Salena’s picture “Now my love i shall have you to myself.”

All of the scout’s were still looking at salena.
“Are you sure your ok? You were just frozen.” North star asked again.
“Yeah I’m fine. I fell great.” Salena replied putting the scepter back in her coat pocket.
“How did you escape?” Mercury asked
“I don’t know. The scepter turned bright red and melted the ice, i guess.” she answered
“I don’t know if i like that thing.” North Star said looking disapprovingly “We don’t know who those girls were that gave it to you or why they did so.”
“Oh stop being a worry wort. I’m fine aren’t i?” Salena advised
All of the scouts changed back in to their normal outfits and were back in the arcade as though nothing had happened. Salena was back at the same racing game playing against Lita.
Later that day Salena, Mina and Lita decided to go to the Cherry Blossom Café for hot chocolate. As they walked in and took their seets Mina spotted Oryan sitting at a table near the counter with another girl.
“Hi Oryan.” Mina shouted over to him.
He turned and looked at Mina and waved, then to Lita. He acted as thought he hadn’t seen Salena. Salena looked at him and the girl next to him. She had red hair in two short pigtails. The girl looked at Salena and smiled.
“What’s wrong?” Lita asked noticing Salena frown.
“Huh? Oh I’m fine.” she replied
“No i mean what’s wrong with you and Oryan? Are you two fighting or something?” Lita restated
“Or something.” Salena said sipping her cocoa
“Who is he talking to?” Mina wondered aloud
“Who cares.” salena said bitterly
“Wow. What’s with the meanness?” Lita asked concerned
Salena shook her head and didn’t answer.
“I’m going to head home. I have to finish getting my stuff ready for school tomorrow.” she said getting up.
The next day at school Salena’s sitting in home room waiting for the day to start. Serena was their on time for once. Soon her home room teacher was taking role call. She then introduced a young man .
“Class this is Ken Wolf. He is a new student and i expect everyone to be exceptionally nice to him.” Ms. H. introduced
Ken had short spiked brown hair and hazel eyes that were visible from behind his small framed glasses. He had a choice on where to sit. He chose the seat right behind Salena. As he walked past Salena looked up at him and thought ~*Wow he’s so cute. And he chose to sit behind me! Of all people.*~. Salena felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around.
“Hi. I’m Kenny. What’s your name?” Ken asked smiling
“I’m Salena.” she replied blushing
“Salena. It’s a cute name. Do you know what it means?” Ken asked still smiling
“It means heavenly. Why do you ask?” Salena wondered
“I believe that what we are named and what the names mean can tell a lot about a person.” he answered “I guess you must be an angel from heaven.”
Salena blushed bright red and tried so hard to refrain from giggling.
“Salena your blushing.” Molly said waking over “Hi. I’m Molly.”
“Hello Molly. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Ken greeted
“Wow he’s polite.” Molly whispered to Salena when Ken wasn’t looking.
“So Ken where was your last school?” Molly asked
“Please call my Kenny and I moved here from Canada.” he replied
“Canada? Really?” Serena blurted butting into the conversation “What’s Canada like?”
“It’s kind of like here actually.” Ken said “Though Japan has a lot more cherry blossom trees.”
“Yeah it has a lot. Wait until spring. There will be tons of them.” Salena said finally able to control her giggles.
“Really? Where would be the best place to see them when they bloom?” he asked
“Any park. But if you want a really spectacular view you would want to go to the park near the pier or to the Cherry Blossom Café.” Salena suggested
“Let me guess the café was named after the trees? Right?” he asked
“Yup.” Molly answered “They’ve got tons of the trees surrounding the building.”
“Not only is it good for seeing the trees but it also has a great hot chocolate.” salena said looking out the window at the snow. “I wish it was spring now. I hate winter.”
“Yeah well we have months before it actually is spring so no since in mopping about.” Molly said enthusiastically
“Right. Why ruin the winter fun waiting for spring?” Ken said “Winter has it’s perks.”
“Oh really? Like what?” Serena asked
“Well there is always snowball fights and sledding. It’s the perfect time to have hot cocoa and ice skating is in.”Ken suggested
Finally the bell for first class rang. Everyone gathered up their stuff and headed for the door.
Salena asked “Hey Kenny? Do you wanna go have a drink after school with me?”
Kenny looked surprised “I’d love to. We can meet out the front doors.”
“Cool. See you then.” she said smiling and walking off to her class.
“It’s a date then” Ken called after her.
All day she was anticipating her date with Kenny. She tried to hard not to look at the clock. Once the final bell rang and Salena got outside she saw Kenny standing near some trees talking to a few girls. Salena walked over to him.
“Hi Kenny.” she said
Then Kenny looked at her, and so did the other girls. Though the girls didn’t look happy to see her. Salena spotted Rochelle in the crowd and she looked especially vial.
“Hi Salena. Ready to go?” he asked
“You going out with her?” Rochelle asked appalled
“We’re just going for hot cocoa Rochelle.” Salena confirmed
“Was i talking to you?” Rochelle stated vindictively “Kenny you can do way better then her. And she already has a boyfriend. His names Oryan Night.”
“Oryan and I aren’t talking, not that it’s any of your business. Besides Rochelle aren’t you going out with Eli White?” Salena shot back
“Even though your not talking doesn’t mean your not still together. You’re a damned player.” Rochelle snapped
“Enough.”Kenny said “It seems you’ve got an attitude problem and you are the player. I’ve already talked to Oryan. I have class with him. And it seems that they aren’t together, even if they were we’re going as friends. Come on Salena.”
Salena and Kenny waked away not talking.
“Did you really talk to him?” salena wondered
“Yes i did. I have math with him. Why do you ask?” Kenny asked
“Just wondering.” she replied as her heart raced
Kenny put his arm around her. “Don’t worry. Oryan seems to be seeing another girl anyways.”
Salena didn’t respond. Salena and Kenny went to the Cherry Blossom Café and sat down. They were their for about an hour talking about anything and everything. Then Oryan walked in with the same girl from yesterday. Oryan saw Salena and Kenny together and looked away quickly. They chose a seat on the other side of the café. Salena looked down at her cocoa.
~*I hope he’s happy with her.*~ she thought
“That’s a pretty necklace.” Kenny said startling Salena
“Oh. Yeah. It was a gift.” she replied
“Who gave it to you?” he asked
“From Oryan. I keep forgetting to take it off.” Salena said before blowing on her cocoa to cool it.
“Don’t. It suits you.” he replied “Excuse me for a moment.”
Kenny got up and headed for the rest room. Once in there Kenny changed back in to Kensi and summoned a creature that looked like a cat and a bird together.
“Now Felis i want you go attack the young man in the right corner of the café whose sitting with a girl with red hair in pigtails. Now go.” he commanded .
After the creature left he changed back in Kenny and left the bathroom. He sat back down in his seat with Salena who was staring into her cocoa again.
Just then the bird/cat creature crashes through the front doors and looks around for the man Kensi described. Once he spotted him he charged. Oryan quickly jumped out of the way and grabbed his dates hand.
“Come one lets get out of here!”Oryan yelled running through the doors. Everyone in the building ran out side as fast as they could. Kenny ran out as well. Salena on the other hand stayed inside and pulled out her scepter.
“Scepter...” she said jump as Felis jumped to attack her.
Midnight grabbed her hand and ran into the back of the café.
“What do you think your doing?” he asked
“I was going to get rid of it. What were you doing?” Salena asked furiously
“I was saving your life! That’s what.” he said
“Well i don’t need you to save me! Why don’t you just go?!” Salena ordered
“Fine have it your way. I won’t come to your rescue again.” he said jumping out a window.
Salena could hear him muttering to himself something like “ungrateful” and “only trying to help”
Salena walked out from her hiding place and saw Felis sniffing around trying to find her.
“I’m right here.” Salena said reproachfully
Felis looked up at her. He jumped at her with its claws ready to slice her to bits. Salena slid under it and stood up behind it.
“Scepter Power!” she yelled watching it try to run from the blast, but no such luck. It got hit and turned to ashes.
Salena quickly put the scepter in her pocket and escaped through a window. She looked around for Kenny outside. He was sitting on a bench near the school. Salena walked over to him.
“I was wondering where you got to.” she said.
“I was wondering the same thing for you. Where did you get to?” he asked
“I ran. And kept running. I got to about .. The arcade and turned around.” she replied
“Oh.” he said “So where to now?” act as though the monster wasn’t anything to worry about.
“I think i should head home.” Salena said “It’s getting late and i have home work.”
“Alright. I’ll walk you home.” he said hold out his hand
Salena took his hand and they walked. They didn’t talk, just walked.
~*Why is my heart racing? Maybe I’m in love. No that can’t be it. But somehow this feels right. Though at the same time it feels like I shouldn’t be with him. I know in my past i was in love with Oryan. Am i still? I don’t know. I know when I’m with him i feel safe, but i do with Kenny to. Kenny reminds me of Oryan. A lot. Maybe he’s his long lost twin. Who knows.*~she thought~*I get the feeling like this is how its supposed to be. Maybe it is. I guess I’m going to have to find out the hard way. I’ll just have to see for myself.*~
Salena was deep in thought and didn’t realize she was almost home. One they were on the porch Kenny said “I had a great time with you today. Lets do it again sometime.”
“Yeah. I had a lot of fun to.” she said barely above a whisper
Kenny kissed her hand and walked away. He turned around and waved goodbye.
Salena walked in the house. She put her coat in the closet and started for the stairs.
“Where have you been?” Steve asked from the kitchen “You know you have to be home for dinner.”
“Sorry dad. I went to the Cherry Blossom Café with a friend and was attacked. I lost track of time.” Salena answered guiltily
“Wasn’t Oryan there too? Didn’t he help fight?” Steve asked
Salena didn’t answer.
“Who were you with at the café?” Natasha asked walking coming down from her room
“This new kid Kenny from my home room.” she replied
“A boy?” Steve wondered “Aren’t you and Oryan going out?”
“No.” Salena said bitterly as she walked upstairs
Steve and Natasha looked at each other confused.
“What’s with her?”he asked

In her room Salena lay on her bed.
“I’m so tired”
“So go to sleep.” star suggested
“Can’t. I have homework.” she replied before drifting to sleep
Salena dreamt the same dream she had when she was in the hospital except there was another part to it. She was in a small room with Oryan (before the attack). They were laying on the floor next to a fireplace.
“Ryan can i ask you a question?” she asked
“Always.”he replied
“Why are our kingdoms fighting? Why is it we aren’t allowed to know of each other?” Salena/Sara asked
“I think it has something to do with the fact that we are from different areas of space. You from the Light and me from the Dark. It is said that light and dark are always at odds. It might also have to be because your mother thinks i killed Sailor Nebula. You know i didn’t kill her. Right?” he said
“I believe you. I know you would never hurt anyone from my kingdom.” she replied
“But your mother doesn’t. I couldn’t have killed her because i was on the Sun Kingdom with Sailor Sun.”
“I know. Don’t worry about it. I know you didn’t do it. And i know one day my mother will to. Even if i have to go to the sun kingdom myself to get proof.” Salena said “ I also know one day we will be together. That our kingdoms won’t be fighting and we will be able to let everyone know about how much we love each other.”
“One day. Though i don’t think it will be in this life time. But one day in the future we will.” Ryan said
Salena/Sara sat up and stared into O/Ryan’s eyes.
“Promise me we’ll love each other in every life time. Promise me.” she pleaded
“You know how time works. As time goes on people change. As people die and are born again they change.” he replied sympathetically “You know i can’t make a promise I’m not sure i can keep.”
“Even if you don’t promise me that you’ll love me forever, I promise you I’ll love you.”she vowed “No matter how many lives we live or how many people we date, I’ll still love you. No matter what happens I’ll love you for eternity. I’ll always love you.”

“Salena wake up!!”star yelled
“What? What’s going on?” salena said half wake
“You were talking in you sleep again. You seem to be doing that a lot lately.” star confirmed
“Sorry. What did i say this time?” salena asked sitting up
“You were declaring your love to someone.” she said “Who were you declaring it to?”
“Huh? Oh no one. Don’t worry about it.” salena said
“It had to have been someone. So who was it?” star begged to know
Salena laid back down and closed her eyes trying to remember exactly how it looked to her.
*sigh* “It was my prince.” she said
Star looked confused “ Who is you prince?”
“From my past. My prince from my past.” she said drifting off to sleep again
“Who is it? Salena wake up and tell me who your prince is.” Star said pulling off the blankets
“It’s the prince of Darkness.” Lizy said jumping onto the bed “Remember the princess had a big time crush on him.”
“Your right. I can’t believe i forgot, but I’m starting to doubt that Salena is our Princess.” star stated
“Why? I think she is.”Lizy said confidently “She can use the scepter. She has Nebula’s powers and memories from the past. And even back then she didn’t want to be princess.”
“I know, but it seems now she is even more resentful to it. Maybe she is just Sailor Nebula, not our princess.” the brown cat said
“She just wants to be normal. She wants to find true love like every teenage girl.” Lizy exclaimed “Salena is just searching for her place in this universe and for that one person she can spend eternity with. I know she’ll find him to, even if you don’t.”
“I’ll love you always.” Salena whispered in her sleep “Always.”
