Sibling Rivalry

Back to the school Oryan, Sharta and Salena are sitting on a bench.
“Is it true?”Oryan asked
“Is what true?” Salena asked knowing what he was going to say
“Are you the Princess of Light?” he said disappointed
“I don’t know.” Salena replied guiltily
“So you have a clue?” Sharta asked
Salena nodded her head “Yeah”
“Why didn’t you tell us?” Sharta asked felling let down
“I didn’t want it to be true. I’m not sure if i am, but everything seems to say it’s so.” salena stated
“You could have told us.” Oryan said looking at the snow
“We’re here to protect you. We’re Sailor Scouts. Its our job.” Sharta confirmed looking at Salena
Salena stood up. “Well I’m not sorry i didn’t tell you.”
Oryan and Sharta looked at salena alarmed.
“I don’t want to be a stupid princess. I want to be me. Salena Sidra Knight. An ordinary 15 year old girl with normal teenage problems.” Salena explained “I don’t want to fight evil. I don’t want to have to be protected. I want to protect myself. I can protect myself. If your mad at me because i didn’t tell you them fine, be mad. I just want to be me, not a princess.”
“You always felt like that.” Sirus said walking over to the group “you never wanted to be special. Not even in your past life.”
“I know. I remember the past. I remember what it was like.” Salena said turning and walking away from them “I remember everything from back then and i don’t want to.”
“Everything? Even your mother?” Sharta questioned
“Everything.” Salena answered walking home “I just want to be me.”

It’s been a few days. The holidays are almost over and school will soon be back in session. Sid and Sici have been over everyday. Salena has actually offered to watch them while her mom went to work, only to get her mind off the past and to avoid Oryan and the other scouts.
“Salena lets go to the park.” Sici suggested
“Yeah lets go to the park.” Sid chimed “Please?”
Salena looked at the two. *sigh* “Alright. Go get your coats and boots on.”
Salena, Sid and Sici want to the park near the arcade. She watched Sid and Sici have a snowball fight then make a snowman.
~*Wish i were that innocent again. They don’t have to worry about school or friends or even saving the world.*~ she thought to herself
Sid and Sici ran up to Salena.
“Come play with us.” Sid commanded pulling her arm
“Yeah. Help us fix our snowman.”Sici ordered pulling her other arm
“Ok ok.” Salena agreed
The three girls walked over to the small snowman and began to make him better. They made him bigger and gave him arms. Salena found some sticks to use for the arms and some rocks for the face. When they were done salena sat down in the snow and watched the twins trying to make a snowman family. Salena laid back in the snow and listened to the girls laughing.
“Hey that was mean!” Salena heard Sici yell.
“Well do as we say and it won’t happen to you!” a woman said
Salena looked up and saw Fire and Water grabbing Sid and Sici.
“Now tell us where you came from!” Fire ordered holding Sid
They didn’t answer.
“Where is the princess?” Water asked struggling to keep hold of Sici
They didn’t answer again.
Salena stood up and walked over to them.
“Put them down!” Salena commanded
“Ah there you are. We’ve been looking for you.” said water putting Sici down
“Put her down!”Salena ordered firmly
“Not until we get what we want.” Fire said
“And what pray tell, do you want?” Salena wondered
“You don’t know?” Water asked “Why its you of course.”
“Me? Why me?” salena said
“Because you are the Princess of Light.” Fire said “That’s why?”
“Sid and Sici looked at Salena.
“You are?” Sid asked trying to escape from fire.
Salena looked surprised.
“How do you know about that?” Salena asked “Never mind don’t tell me. No I’m not the stupid princess of light. I told you that last time. Now put her down!”
“If your not then why are you wearing the Crystal of Light?” Water asked pointing to the crystal necklace Oryan gave her.
Salena didn’t say anything.
“See you are. Now you’ll come with us if you don’t want these precious girls of yours to get hurt.” Fire exclaimed
“Their not my girls.”Salena confirmed “Either put her down or I’m not going with you.”
“So you admit that you are the princess.” Water said sarcastically
“No. How can i be something I’m not? Now put her down.” Salena said pulling her scepter out of her coat pocket.
Fire dropped Sid in the snow and walked away pulling Water with her. Sid ran and hid behind Salena and stuck out her tongue at Fire. Fire raise an eyebrow and did nothing.
“So are you going to fight us in front of children?” Fire asked hopeful.
“No are you?” Salena asked back
“Come on Fire lets get out of here.” Water suggested
“No. I want to end this now.” Fire said “Don’t you?”
“Yeah but we need to work out a plan first.” Water said
“No. It’s now or never.”
“Why do you get to order me around? It’s not fair! I’m always doing what you say! Now you do what i say!” Water ordered
Fire scowled at Water. “NO! I’M THE LEADER OF THE GROUP!”
Salena looked at the two fighting and shook her head *sweatdrop*. She took Sid and Sici’s hand and started walking away.
“Where do you think your going?” Fire yelled at Salena’s back. “Get back here! I’m not done with you yet!”
Salena, Sid and Sici walked home. As they did salena questioned them about how they knew about the Princess of Light.
“How do you know about her?” Salena asked
Sid looked up at Salena and didn’t answer.
“Your hiding something from me and my family. I know it.” Salena said letting go of their hands “If you in any way hurt my family, you’ll have to answer to me!”
“You don’t trust us do you Salena?” Sici asked
“No i don’t.” Salena said “I know your not my half sister. So who are you.”
They didn’t answer.
When they walked in to the house Natasha was there with Aurora. Sid and Sici ran up to them and sat on their laps.
“So how was the park?” Natasha asked Sid
“Fun. We made a snowman, and had a snowball fight.” Sid replied
“Salena also almost got into a fight with two people who thought she was the princess of light. Like the one you told us about in your story.” Sici added
“A fight? With two people?” Aurora asked
“Yup.” Sid confirmed “They thought she was the princess from your story. She even has the scepter that you told us about.”
“You told them about the Princess of Light?” Salena asked furiously
“Sid. Sici. Why don’t you go up stairs and play?” Natasha suggested
Once Sid and Sici were safely out of earshot Natasha said “Yes i told them about it. I didn’t tell them who she was but i did tell them.”
“Why? What were you thinking?” said Salena
“They asked me about her. So i told them. What the big deal?” Natasha wondered “What’s with you showing them the scepter?”
“It was for protection.” Salena said
“I don’t think telling them could hurt anything. Their just kids.” Aurora stated
“Yeah. It’s no big deal.”
“It is to me.” Salena said hurt “I didn’t want anyone to know. I don’t even know if i am. I wasn’t going to tell anyone until i was sure i was her.”
“Then how did mom and dad find out?” Natasha asked
“I told them.” Sidra said forming in the mirror above the fireplace
Natasha and Aurora didn’t look at all surprised.
“You did? Interesting.” Aurora stated
“Wait. How do you know about her?” Salena asked pointing to Sidra in the mirror
“We remember the past.” Natasha confirmed “We knew she had many gifts.”
“She well you use to pop up in mirrors all the time. It always scared when she did it.” Aurora said remembering the past. “But i don’t know how she’s.. Your doing it now.”
“Yeah. You don’t even have the powers of the stars yet. How is it possible.” Natasha wondered aloud “Unless you somehow figured out how to manipulate the space time continuum.”
“The what?” Salena asked looking at the mirror as Sidra’s image faded
“Never mind.” Natasha said “So what happened at the park?”
Salena went in to the long detailed explanation. Once she was done Oryan and Steve were home making dinner. Oryan walked into the room, looked at Salena and walked back out.
“What’s with him?” Natasha asked looking out the door
Salena didn’t answer. She just got up and walked up to her room.
“Sidra” she said into her mirror
Sidra’s image formed in the mirror.
“What?” she said
“Who are you?”
“What do you mean? You know who i am. I am you.” she replied
“No i don’t. You can’t be me. I am me.”
“Your right. I’m not you. Never was. Never will be.” she said
The image in the mirror changed in to a tall woman with brown hair and olive eyes. She was wearing a long baby yellow dress(kind of like Queen Serenity’s). She looked just like Salena now except for her hair was lighter and she had a star on both of her wrists, as well as her forehead.
“My name is Sierra.” she said smiling “I was wondering when you were going to figure out I’m not your past self.”
Salena sat on her bed surprised “You look like..” Salena started
“Like your past life mother?” Sierra finished “Yes i do. Unlike you in your past life i have the power to manipulate the space time continuum.”
“But your dead.” Salena said “How is it possible. And if you are my mother from my past life then why show yourself as me?”
“Yes i am dead or at least i am in this time era. I am actually alive in my time. I only showed myself that way because i wanted to gain your trust. I guess i should have shown myself as i am.” Sierra stated
“Then everything you told me when we first met was a lie?” Salena asked
“No. That’s all true. Your sister and her friend were right you don’t have the powers of the stars yet.” Sierra started “Though i don’t know why your so skeptical of being the princess. Or is it that you don’t want to be?”
“No i don’t. From what Sirus told me i never did.” Salena said “i probably never will want to.”
“Probably. And i understand why. I went through the same thing. I didn’t want to either.” Sierra said
“Well your queen now. Or at least you were. Wait how do i know this isn’t another one of your tricks?” Salena asked disbelievingly
“You don’t. Your just going to have to trust me, now aren’t you?”
“No. I don’t trust anyone! And I’m sure a lot of my friends don’t trust me because i didn’t tell them there was a definite chance of me being the Princess of Light. I don’t care. A lot has happened to me in the past few months. Everything is moving fast, to fast, but I’ll adjust. I’ve changed a lot and I’m still changing. If i am the princess fine. If I’m not then great. I’m NOT going to let my past life dictate how I’m going to live in this life! I’m going to be myself. I’m going to protect innocent people and do good things. I’m going to go to college and I’m going to get married to the person i love most. I’m going to have kids and I’m going to raise then. The Kingdom of Light will have no say in how i live my life. Even if it means renouncing the throne.” Salena said firmly “I will not be ruled by my past life!”
“Good for you.” Sierra said over joyed. “I wish i had that kind of enthusiasm when i was your age. You have the right to live your life as you want. And don’t let the Kingdom rule who you are or what you do. If they can’t except that then, who needs them.”
“Don’t worry. I’m not going to let my past tell me who i can and can’t be. That’s why I’m going to ask you leave and never come back. If you are my past live mother, even if your not, you still have ties to my past and i don’t want to see you. Ever again. Don’t visit me in mirrors or windows. Don’t visit me in my dreams or in reflections in water. Make no contact with me or my family or the scouts. I’m not going to let the past repeat itself and I’m not going to let you or anyone else tell me who to be. Now leave and never come back!” Salena commanded with a look of hatred and fury on her face.

A few days later. The snow finally stopped falling and the sky turned into a clear blue. Salena would be back in school soon, as the holiday was almost over. Salena lay in bed wake.
“Salena what is wrong?” Star asked laying next to her.
Salena didn’t answer, but she did look at the small cat with a sad expression.
“You don’t seem yourself. Are you sick? Hurt? Do you want me to get your father?” Star questioned concerned
Salena shook her head looking away.
“You’ve been this way for days now. You don’t talk anymore and you hardly eat.” Star looked Salena in the eyes “What’s wrong?”
“Go away.” Salena said closing her eyes
“I will not. Everyone’s worried about you. This isn’t like you. You just don’t going into a depression state over nothing. So what’s wrong?” stated star
“Nothing is wrong. I’m fine. I just want to be alone.” Salena replied
“has this anything to do with Oryan and Sharta?” star asked
Salena sat up and stared at the talking cat.
“Yes i know all about what happened. About you not telling them you are or could definitely be our princess. Oryan is hurt and Sharta has put it behind her. Don’t worry. It will all blow over in a few days. And just thing you’ll be back in school tomorrow. So cheer up.” Star said jumping off the bed
Salena laid back down and closed her eyes. A few hours later Natasha walked in and sat on the bed.
“So you’ve decided to become a hermit?” She asked sarcastically
“What do you want?” Salena asked
“I just came to see if you wanted to go to the arcade with me. That’s all.” Natasha offered “You’ve been up here in your room for a while and thought you might want to go outside.”
“Is Oryan coming to?” salena asked
“No. He and some of his friends went to the movies.” Natasha confirmed “Come on get dressed.”
Natasha left the room and closed the door. Salena got up and dressed and headed downstairs.
“I’m ready.” she said pulling on her coat.
Natasha and Salena walked to the arcade. When they got inside they saw Serena, Mina, Lita, and Raye there playing the latest Sailor V game. Salena sat down at a racing game and started playing.
“Hey salena.” Mina said sitting down next to her. “So has your holiday been?”
“Fine. Yours?” salena asked
“It’s been great. To bad it has to end.” Mina said playing the game she was at.
“I don’t care if it ends. I want the nice weather back.”Salena said
“You know you always seem to be at the exact pace we least expect you to be.” Fire said standing next to Salena.
Salena jumped up from the game.
“You scared me.” salena said catching her breath “What do you want?”
everyone in the arcade was now staring at them.
“You know what we want.” Water whispered
“Well to bad. I’m not coming with you.” salena said walking out into the cold air.
Fire and Water followed.
Water shot out a blast of water that freeze Salena where she stood.
“Now then. What were you say about not coming with us?” Fire asked happily
Salena could see the scouts in the arcade duck for cover so they could transform. Sailor North Star was the first outside.
“Let her go!” she yelled pointing her staff at Water.
“This doesn’t concern you! So but out!” Water remarked
The other Scouts were outside now and ready to attack.
“Oh great. Now we’ve got the whole damned army here.” Water pleaded to Fire “lets grab the brat and go.”
“No. They want a fight. We’ll give them one.” Fire said looking at Sailor Moon “You must be the leader.”
“Of course. I’m Sailor Moon the..” Sailor Moon started
“Yeah. Yeah. We know.” Fire said “Plasma Blast.”
Five balls of fire formed out of thin air and darted at the scouts. They ran trying to lose the blasts. Salena watched from her icy confine. She began to fell weak from the numbness and was having trouble breathing with the ice covering her mouth and nose. She could see the scouts fight furiously with Water and Fire.
Salena looked down at her side. She saw she still had the scepter. If she could only reach it. Her fingers were to numb to move. Then the scepter began to glow as though it knew what Salena needed. The star on the top turned bright red and started melting the ice. Salena took her eyes off the light and watched the fight hoping noone noticed it. Soon she was free and fell to the ground gasping for breath. She clutched the scepter to her chest and caressed it. She stood up and looked at Fire and Water who were throwing attacks.
“Hey you two. Shouldn’t you be worried your prisoner will escape?” Salena asked in dignified
Everyone fighting looked over at Salena. She was staring at them amusing.
“Scepter Power.” Salena said calmly as a blast of yellow light emitted from the star and encased both Fire and Water in the light and turned them to dust.
All the scouts stared at her. Not knowing what happened. Sailor North Star and Sailor Moon ran over to salena.
“Are you ok?” sailor Moon asked
“I’m fine. I’ve never felt better.” Salena said confidently
