2-3 month male Black Lab mix pup found in Cahokia, IL - hit and run Head and Spine Trauma Died May 30th, 1998 A little dark stranger crossed my path. His circumstances evoking my wrath. Cruelty being his mate for the day. With a kind hand never coming his way. New to this world and all unknowing, light hearted and trusting wherever he's going. Never seeing the path unraveling ahead, only puppy days for him, death's waiting instead. As the vehicle of death sped his way, callously taking his young life away. Never stopping to see what damage was done, leaving him instead to die in the sun. What awful thing could this "baby" have done to be treated so cruelly and left in the sun to suffer and die alone in his pain? Nothing! But be subjected to a race so vain that values so little and treasures himself above all else, except for his wealth. For those who saw yet turned away, refusing to help this pup today An Eye for an Eye the saying goes.
