That's You Mom!
As we grow up, we come to find there's someone we can count on.
Who'll always be there, rain or shine, when we need one to call upon.
She listens with a patient ear to our triumphs and our woes.
At times her heart is heavy, depending on how our life goes.
As a mother, she experiences a lot of different things.
Pain, rejection, happiness & joy - any and all of life's offerings.
It seems that no matter what her child may do or how they are,
She'll always be there for them if they need her, near or far.
If in Gods plan there was to be one very special person,
a mother would be just the one to always get the job done.
Her heart is big enough to hold love for quite a few.
Even then it seems there may be room for another one or two.
I've tried to put into words just what a mother is to me.
I've used my own feelings for this so maybe you can see
that somewhere along the way I've seen a good example of
a mother that's all these things. That's you mom, all my love!
