I Could Not Love You More!
The many years you cared for me were sometimes hard and long.
And yet because you loved me, you endured and carried on.
When other moms were staying home to carry on as wives,
you were in the working world to put comfort in our lives.
Those years are over now & you've another one to raise.
This time though, it can be done in more relaxing ways.
I tired to think of other ways that things could have been done,
but finally had to face the fact that really there were none.
Now I'm grown and married with two children of my own.
But if at times things should get tough I know I'm not alone.
All I'd need to do is call & you'd be at my door.
And for this mom I'd like to say, I could not love you more!
