Sisters
Sisters come in all shapes and sizes
and different colors too.
But of all the sisters I could have,
my first choice would be you.
I've watched you grow from just a girl
into quite a lady.
And though I've done this from afar,
I'm proud as I can be!
I've missed a lot of years with you
as you were getting older.
What was once a quiet shy girl,
is now a young lady grown bolder!
Though we'll go our separate ways at times
and live our separate lives,
nothing's stronger or more important
than loving family ties.
