Now My Story on meeting Derek. I have been a Yankees fan since I was 4 years old. I was at the World Series when they played the Mets. That was awesome. I have been to lots of Yankees games. Never had the chance to meet him until this year it was when they played Toronto Blue Jays April 14-16. We stayed in town for those 3 days.  We went to practice on Tuesday and he came walking into the stadium. I was standing in the stands close to the field. He stopped to sign autographs. I walked over to where he was signing. He started talking to me.  He asked if I want autograph and I said yea please.  So he did he signed my baseball. It was the baseball that my father gave me when I was 13. I was so happy. We talked for a little while then he went and practice. Needless to say they won 2 games and lost one. We wanted to stay longer but we couldn't they played one more game against them and won. I couldn't have been more thrilled. I have loved Derek ever since he came to play for the Yankees.

Here is the picture of the baseball.
