It’s almost that time again! August 12 – 14, 2005 will begin the
celebration for the 2005 Davis Family Reunion. Our theme this year
“Staying Connected” will be uplifted by a number of exciting events.
We will kick off the reunion Friday August 12th at the Myrtle
Beach Chapin City Park. At precisely 5:30 p.m. we will gather for a
family picnic. The city park is 4 blocks away from the Myrtle Beach
Pavilion so immediately following the picnic we can enjoy an evening of
shopping, games, amusement park rides, and a great view of the ocean. At
4:30 p.m. on Saturday August 13th a semi-formal family dinner
will be held at the Holiday Inn West. Proceeding the dinner there will
be an action-pack night of family entertainment. Entertainment may
include a family base fashion; talent show, a video explosion and
15 seconds of fame. Finally, on Sunday, August 14th our most important event will conclude our family reunion by giving time to
God in worship or church services. This year family reunion T-Shirts
colors are burgundy and white. Children sizes are available from 2T –
18/20 (size 18/20 are equivalent of men small) and adult sizes are
available from small - 10XL. T-Shirts will be distributed during the
picnic. This year’s family reunion fee is $40.00 per adult and $30.00 per
child ages 4-10 years old. These fees cover Friday & Saturday’s
dinner, T-Shirts & entertainment cost. Also, if parents desire
T-Shirts for their children under the age of 4, they are available for
$6.00 and start at size 2T. Please may payment by June 1,
2005.

I feel our 2005 reunion will be the best yet. However, I need your help.
With a family as talented as our own, we don’t get to spotlight talents among all family members regularly. So I
am asking at
least one or more members from each family participate in the
fashion/talent show or 15 seconds of fame. Please encourage your
children and/or young adults to participate. Participants can model
their Sunday's best, the newest & hippest styles or someone can show
how fashion was done during the 60’s and 70’s. The talent show
will encompass ALL talents that anyone wishes to share. Tell a joke, read
poetry, dance, sign, etc. For the video explosion, we'll all sit back
and enjoy a video story of the Davis family as well as enjoy pictures
from our past family reunions. I welcome any pictures family members
wish to share. Please mail your pictures to the same address listed for
the reunion fees by June 1st. I will be personally
responsible for the safekeeping and return of images. I will
re-distribute pictures to their owners during the family reunion. The
15-seconds of fame will allow individuals to tell the family about any
accomplishments or memorable events they have experienced (i.e. job
promotion, student honor roll, or arrival of new child) that otherwise
wouldn’t be common knowledge. I know we can do this. In order for to coordinate these events I need each family to return the second page
