Think of Me
Think of me when you fall into
the arms of the mother Earth.
Think of me when she wraps herself
around you and holds you forever.
Think of me when she carries you to meet your father and they welcome you as their child.
Think of me when the Earth claims you as her own.
Think of me when the sky cries in joy or in pain.
Think of me when the tears of the heavens, of the God and Goddess, whatever name you call them, soak through your soul.
Think of me when the wind threads her fingers through your hair to remind you, you are not alone.
Think of me when there seems no hope and yet the wind and water whisper in your ear.
Think of me when the father Sun kisses your
skin softly with encouragement.
Think of me when the flame that rages within
all of us bubbles and explodes in anger.
Think of me when the blazing heat of love
and passion burn your every cell.
Think of me when the fire that makes
us live consumes you.
Think of me when the mother
Earth calls your name.
Think of me when rain and wind steal your pain.
Think of me when fire reminds you, you are alive.
