KnK Racing is an associate member of the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office Race Against Drugs and Lorain County's Corrections Awareness Programs.
The program uses the color, speed, and excitement of motorsports to attract the attention of youngsters and their families and provide them with unique drug prevention awareness and educational materials. RAD and its volunteers utilize motorsports to convey to youth that there is no such thing as “harmless” drug use. RAD also provides young people with creative options to deal successfully with the drug issues that face them on a day-to-day basis.
Race Against Drugs (RAD) is a partnership in drug education by 23 American motor sports organizations, the National Child Safety Council, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention.
Our drivers and crew (men, women and children), serve as positive role models to show children and young adults that they too can follow their dreams and make the right choices to help achieve those goals. Avoiding Alcohol and Drugs is the best way to insure they have a chance to follow their dreams.
We are currently seeking sponsorships and/or donations for the Race Against Drugs racing program.
