Kia Ora Friends & Whanau!

Mid-September! Jeepers! We are in the final preperation stages of IWT. .. in a season of time where "normal" life is up for grabs.

It's Saturday. Jay is at the Greg Laurie Campaign as a counsellor. I'm watching the legendary claymation "Wallas & Gromit's Grand Day Out" on TV. We've had a mellow couple of weeks. The calm before the storm?

I've been reminded how important it is that we have good, solid prayer support in this time. You can imagine that the enemy is probably not that keen on IWT. In fact, I'd like to think that we're a major threat to his agena. So far things seem smooth sailing actually, no major threats, no fear of death, but at the same time I can't shake the feeling like we need to prepare more of a prayer support. You can print out the little prayer card below as daily fuel for prayer.

Not only do we need more prayer personally, but we also really want to see more Kiwi youth praying for their friends... getting ready to invite them to IWT. Jay & I just finished a little joint project that we've been thinking about for over a year -it's a little prayer bookmark, with some explantations for effective prayer explained in a way that a 15 year old can understand and with spunky little icons to match. Email us if you're interested in ordering some copies (they're about 70 cents each to print), or else just download the PDF file. Click here to check it out.

In other news, Jay has been doing a lot of speaking... casting vision for what God wants to do in NZ. He spoke at our home church in Auckland last week and if you'd like to hear the tape we can send you one... just let us know and we'll pop one in the mail.

Peace Out!
