Sept. 26, 2002 |
This is the first meeting of the Solve Team 3A. We discussed the general and specific brainstorming items. We got 10 problems and numbered them. Then each team member voted for the problems. After the voting, we got three problems that had the highest votes. The problems are Net speed problem in our residence, Cafeteria staff and working system, and the Lockers usage factor and improvement. |

Sept. 28, 2002 |
This is the second meeting for the Solve Team 3A. We discussed and did the PMI for the three specific problems we got at the first meeting. Also we made a summary for each problem. We list the details of the problems; the details of the preliminary solutions for the particular problems, the target users who would benefit from the solution and the future action plan to solve the problems. |

This is the third meeting of the Solve Team 3A. We continued with the summary of the three specific problems. |

This is the forth meeting of the Solve Team 3A. We did the Case Study Report Part Two ¨C Request For Design. We discussed the project title, project goal, target users, and listed the future action plan. Then we use a simple style for the title page. At last, we got all the parts together. |

This is the fifth meeting of the Solve Team 3A. At this time, we listed the questions of Guided Interview and the questionnaires of Staff Personnel interview and job title. We discussed which staff and students to interview. We prepared the questionnaire for the students. |

This is the sixth meeting of the Solve Team 3A. We got all the questionnaires back. We reviewed all the questionnaire results. We also did some researches on feasibility study |

After the sixth meeting, we suddenly find the goal that we were doing on the case study is not correct, so we change its direction immediately and prepared using the computer to solve the problem. |

This is the seventh meeting of the Solve Team 3A. We discussed the questions for the interview with most of the students in different classes. And, we have an interview for Ms. Ping. We discussed and finished most part of Part 4. |

This is the ninth meeting of the Solve Team 3A. We planned to finish the sketch of the Data Flow Diagram. We made both level-0 and level-1 data flow diagrams. |

Nov. 4, 2002 |
This is the ninth meeting of the Solve Team 3A. Since we have finished part 4 the day before yesterday, so, we decided to do the part 5 and 6 and tried to finish it in 5 days. So far, we have done something in the data flow diagram, and have divided members to do individual parts, so, in those days, we just get those things together and our leader reanalysis them and put them together. |

This is the tenth meeting of the Solve Team 3A. Team members discuss about how to make a system flowchart, and try to analysis the information about the hardware that is used in the data flow process. According to the level 0 data flow diagram; we finish the level 0-system flowchart. |

This is the eleventh meeting of the Solve Team 3A. We have got a new member from another group: Jenny, and she¡¯s very pleased to help our team to go on the last three part of our case study. We analysis the entire hardware system in a more specific way, and follow the level-1 data flow diagram, we complete the level-1 system flowchart. |

This is the twelfth meeting of the Solve Team 3A. Tonight, we began do the Part 7¡ªSolution Development today. We divided this part into three parts. Lance and Wendy are doing 7A, 7B. Our leader Spencer and Kim are doing 7C. |

This is the thirteenth meeting of the Solve Team 3A. Tonight, we met in the cafeteria. All of us brought our parts together and further discussed 7A, 7B, and 7C. We also discussed the main points of 7C because it is the most difficult part. |

This is the fourteenth meeting of the Solve Team 3A, and the last meeting for the Part 7. We had a meeting in the cafeteria tonight. We brought all the parts together and checked each part. Then we got our final report for Part 7. |

This is the fifteenth meeting of the Solve Team 3A; this is our first meeting for part 8 (Validation Methods) We divided our work into 2 parts. Lance, Wendy and Jenny are doing First part (In class). Spencer and Kim are doing Second part (Outside class). |

This is the seventeenth meeting of the Solve Team 3A, and today is the last meeting for the Part 8. We checked each part of part 8 carefully. Then we got our final report for Part8 |

This is the eighteenth meeting of the Solve Team 3A. Because Part 9 has 3 part, so, we decided to do one part everyday. Today we did the first part of part 9 (User Guider) in the class with everybody except Lance because he was taking the TOEFL test. By the end of the class, we have ready finished this part. |

This is the nineteenth meeting of the Solve Team 3A. Tonight, we met in the boy¡¯s residence to do the second part of part 9 (Operator Guider). Because this part is not so hard. So, we finished it in a short time. After that, we began to talk about the part 9C. It¡¯s a big question; so, we had to spend more time on it. |

This is the twentieth meeting of the Solve Team 3A. We continued doing the last part of part 9 (Technical Manual). As a leader, Spencer was very powerful. Under his leading, we got on well. At last, we had all done. |
