The first time I met Hayley we were up at the
youth center and the first thing I said to her was "Your brother is hot!!"[I was like 7!]
After that first meeting I ended up going to school in Falkand and
we became friends. I used to come to her house often. Lots of memorable
things happened at her house. Like when we used to get in garbage
bags and slide down the stairs. Hayley said "Don't do that anymore,
you'll hit your head", then I went right down and smacked my head.
I was very accident prone! We also loved playing "Ghost". One
time when we were playing in Hayley's room and I was "it", I spun
too many times, got dizzy and smacked my head against the wall so
hard that the picture in the bathroom crashed off the wall! Kathy
came running, everyone was freaking out worried about me, but I was laughing my head off.
When I first came into Foster care, Hayley helped me get through
all my hard feelings I had. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be
where I am today. She told the counselors exactly what I was going
through, and it saved me. I love her. She was my angel, and still
is.
