Here in these holiday homes we stayed a few days in September 2018. Ville du Soleil consists of a number of separate houses and a bungalow. We stayed in one of the houses. On the ground floor there is the living room with kitchen and one of the bedrooms (with twin beds) with a private shower and toilet. There is also a veranda overlooking the sea. On the first floor is the master bedroom with a beautiful bathroom. Here is also a terrace overlooking the sea. The houses are quiet and they are close to one of our favorite beaches (Green Beach). The owners of the complex are very sympathetic.

Ville du Soleil offers traditional stone-built houses in Makrigialos, in south Crete. The long sandy beach of Lagada is just 400 m away. The bungalows and villas are elegant, with stone walls, wooden furniture and timber ceilings. Their private balconies offer sea or landscape views. Each offers a comfortable seating area with fireplace. A welcome basket consisting of homemade jams, sweets and a bottle of a traditional drink is offered. Makrigialos is graced with a long sandy beach and a splendid backdrop of mountains with gorges. The village boasts a delightful selection of taverns, bars and cafes, all serving delicious local flavours.
