SKALA NEON KYDONION ON LESBOS Close to Skala Mystegna, on the northeast side of the island (on the road Mytilini - Mantamados) lies the fishing village and the beach of Skale Neon Kydonion. At first glance the rocks in the village reminded me a bit of the Algarve in Portugal. It's a small village with the usual kaiks, a few hotels and tavernas and a small beach, but just ahead is one of the nicer beaches of the island. |
