You can't miss it, the island of Patmos, because as you sail in on the ferry you will see the monastery on top of the mountain reaching for the sky. A visit to this place is a defenite must. You should also take a look at the socalled treasure-chamber while you are there. It's full of amazing precious objects and textiles. Patmos is together with Tinos still one of the most important Greek religious centres. But this is not reflected in the atmosphere on the island, which is pretty relaxed. The people are very friendly and open and the island is just a place to feel happy.
