LISVORI
In the village of Lisvori on Lesbos you can find one of the hot water mineral springs that the island is famous for. There are separated baths for men and women. They are recommended in the treatment of several illnesses like rheumatism, arthritis and gynaeological problems. Lisvori is situated in the Municipality of Polichnitos, and the inhabitants of the village are mainly occupied with farming. This area is famous for the production of olive oil and anise, an aromatic herb. Its seeds are used in the preparation of ouzo.
